Sakura woke up to the sound of her alarm clock.

ring ring ring ring

Lifting her right arm without looking up she closed it off. She slowly sat up rubbing her eyes and yawned. Her dresser drawer opened to reveal Kero doing the same thing.

"Sakura, why are you up so early?"

The said card captor got out of bed and stretched her arms before answering,

"I have to go to school and try out what we practiced last night."

"You sure that's safe? What if someone sees you?"

"It'll be fine Kero. I'll stay at the back building as always.

Kero yawned, "Okay. Be careful." He murmured before he went back to sleep.

She went down for breakfast after getting ready, remembering to take the cards with her.

"Ohayou!" she greeted cheerfully as she sat down on one of the chairs of the dining table.

"Ohayou Sakura." Her father Fujitaka greeted.

'Ohayou Otou-san" she said smiling at her dad. She turned to the picture frame in front of the flower vase. It was a photo of her mother, Nadeshiko.

"Ohayou Okaa-san" she greeted with a soft smile.

"You're up early." Her brother commented with a suspicious look as he accepted the food their father gave him.

"I.. uh.. have something to do before class. Need to catch up on some lessons." Sakura bit out, "Arigatou Otou-san."

"hmmm.." her brother replied to her reason.

Sakura let out a nervous laugh, "You're up early too."

"Yuki and I have an early morning soccer practice at the university."

"That reminds me," Fujitaka said to them, "why don't you invite Yukitoh for dinner, we haven't seen him in a while."

"Sure dad."

Sakura ate the rest of her breakfast and quickly said good bye to her brother and father.

She was now a junior in high school at Tomoeda High where her brother previously studied. She was going there early so she could practice the power concentration for tonight's event. It was a few months after transforming the Nothing Card into a Sakura Card. She had a dream. She met with a Sakura from another dimension and in order to help them with their journey she gave her star wand for their wish to be fulfilled by the dimension wish. It was the price. She knew it was going to be hard using the cards without the wand but she trusted the cards and her guardians. She knew that everything would be alright. She had been studying using magic without the wand for 3 years now, however she does admit that without the wand, it was difficult to control the amount of power that she wanted to use. She was fairly good with the help of Eriol and the others but she knew she needed another wand so she was going to practice for tonight.

When she arrived at school, she found her best friend standing there waiting.

"Tomoyo?"

Tomoyo turned to face her and gave her a smile, "Ohayou Sakura-chan"
