Julian's POV

You win the biggest asshole award, congratulations! My head kept saying. I didn't have a problem with Maya being depressed, I knew she was, but she could have told me she takes medication for it. I feel like I have a right to know. Ugh, I need a drink.

I walked to the nearest bar, which was simply called Pub. Entering the faintly lighted bar, I sat on a stool.

"What can I get ya", asked the bartender.
"Heineken and a shot of tequila." The bartender nodded his head and went to fetch my drinks. I played with the callous on my fingers until my drinks got here. I quickly swallowed the tequila, washing it down with beer.

I already felt better. But I kept thinking back to Maya. It made me wonder if she even trusted me.
"Bartender, another shot", I called over. I came here to forget, not think it over.

Maybe I over reacted. It's not like I'm always in the greatest mood either. However, I drink my problems away. I had to give her kudos for actually knowing how to deal with her emotions. God damn, where's that shot?

"Here you go", the bartender said almost like he read my mind. One, two, three, four beers, shots of tequila, and glasses of whiskey later, I felt nothing. It must be at least 12 PM now. Whatever, I just need to get home.

Just as I was about to leave, someone sat next to me. I looked over to see who it was, expecting to see a huge biker looking dude. It was actually a girl. I couldn't help but look at her, she was pretty.

"Can I help you", she asked trying to sound polite.
"Sorry, it's just...nothing. Why is a pretty girl like you out this late at a sleazy bar", I slurred with a smirk. She but her lip, smiling.
"I had a rough day", she replied.
"Oh tell me about it." I said sarcastically. I motion the bartender over. "Can I get another whiskey and what ever this pretty lady wants." I motioned to the girl.

"I'll have a margarita, thank you." I watched her for bit.
"I'm Julian by the way."
"Juliet", she said back.
"Wow, what are the odds?" I refered to our names almost sounding identical.

The bartender came back with our drinks. We must have talked for at least an hour because the amount of people in this bar decreased. I was too drunk to even realised Juliet dragging me out of the bar. We giggled as we tripped over each other on our way to her car.

She opened the back door, pushing me in there. I lied down on the seats as she crawled on top of me, closing the door behind her. She shoved her alcohol stained tongue in my mouth and ran her hands through my hair. I couldn't help but kiss her back. My hands roamed her ass as our kisses became more intense.

Her hand went down to my thigh, snaking it up to the bulge I regretfully had in my pants. Regretful? Why regretful, I thought. Juliet was unzipping my pants when I realised the regret was coming from the 1% of sober consciousness I had.

I quickly stopped her, sitting up. "What's wrong", she asked. I didn't want to tell her the truth, incase Maya would some day cross paths with her. My paranoid self thought that up, but that would never happen.

"I'm gay", I blurted out. Juliet's jaw dropped.
"Oh my god, you asshole! You were just using me to see if you were straight or not, weren't you", she pointed a finger at me. I shrugged my shoulders. I can't believe this was actually working.

She got out of the car, pulling me out. She smacked me across my face, walked over to the driver's side, and quickly drove out of the bar parking lot.

Now is the time for me to not know what do, maybe go back to the bar and drink till I pass out. It made sense, so I went back to the bar and ordered a beer. With every sip I thought, You cheated on Maya you dickhead. But I drank until my thoughts were, I need another drink.

"B-bartender, shot please", I managed to say. My mouth could barely move. He cautiously gave me the shot. The minute the burning alcohol trickled down my throat, everything went black.
