Once I walked into math, I handed the teacher my note. She smiled brightly and said, "I'm Ms. Jameson and welcome to Don E. Richardson High School. You can sit next to Paul. Paul raise your hand please." I walked toward Paul and took out all the things I should need for this class. Once Ms, Jameson went on with the lesson I took notes. I normally don't take notes but math is extremely hard for me. Paul snickered.

"New kid's taking notes," Paul whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"What a dork," Another voice replied. I ignored them and kept writing notes.

"Seth. What are you doing?" Ms. Jameson asked.

"Taking notes..," I answered. The room erupted into laughter.  Ms. Jameson and I weren't laughing. What's so funny about taking notes? "Was it my accent?" I asked. Ms. Jameson let out a loud whistle and the class stopped.

"That's better," Ms. Jameson said. She went back to the board and continued teaching as if nothing happened.

For the rest of the class period people kept throwing notes at me saying "Still taking notes British Boy?" or "Hey nerd! Mind doing my homework!?" and childish things like that. I officially hated that class and everyone in it. I'm surprised some people didn't even spell British right! How are they in high school?  I glanced at the clock praying that the bell would ring. Instead, the door opened. My attention turned toward the front of the room where the girl I saw in the hall walked in. She sat down in front of me.

Stop staring at her you idiot. I thought. It took everything in me to not stare. Once I did she turned around.

"Oh hey British dude! I didn't know you were in this class," She said. "Ummm... Can I borrow a pencil?"

"Borrow or have?" I asked.

"Eeerrr... Have," She said smiling her adorable smile. I handed her the pencil I was using. "Thanks British dude!" She then messed up my hair good thing I could care less.

"Jamie! Keep your hands to yourself!" Ms. Jameson snapped. So her name is Jamie.

"What is this? Preschool?" Jamie questioned.

"Elizabeth!" Ms. Jameson growled. Her face was turning red. I half expected to see steam coming out if her ears.

"Oh no! You used my first name!! I'm so scared!!" Jamie said sarcastically. The class laughed.

"You..," Ms. Jameson growled. By now I was waiting for the steam to come out of her ears.

"Are awesome? I know," Jamie said. Just then the bell rung and Jamie was the first one out. Maybe this class won't be so bad.

I slowly made my way to my next class, French. Why on earth would I need to learn French? It’s not like I'm going to France or anything. Why would I? I've been there 12 times with my parents. My mom always translates stuff to us.

I stopped my rant as soon as someone bumped into me.

"Oh! Sorry!" She said.
