"Mom?" The girl beckoned her Mom to her.
"Yes, Sydney?" her Mom asked as she walked towards Sydney.
"My friend, Aamna, was getting bullied at school today for her head-scarf," said Sydney.
"Oh, really? You didn't participate in it, did you?"
"No no! Of course not...," Sydney replied before saying, "...but can you tell me why people say Muslims are such bad people?"
"Well, I can't exactly tell you why everyone believes that except for saying that the media portrays them in a bad light," Ericka, Sydney's Mom, says.
Sydney slowly nodded her head with a frown plastered across her lips.
"But I can tell you a story," Ericka says. "It's about a friend of mine."
Sydney looked up with a little smile. "What's her name?" she asked.
"Zafrat Mahnoor."
