"I'll go get you some water." Keshawn offered for her.

He turned to go towards the door, but Imani grabbed his wrist stopping him from walking any further. Keshawn looked over to her, trying to see what she wanted. She shook her head, and he furrowed his eyebrows trying to get her to elaborate further in what she was trying to communicate to him. "Can you just stay in here with me please?" Imani asked, her voice more vulnerable than he had heard ever since he had seen her again.

Keshawn nodded his head, not wanting to hurt her feelings, especially since she was drunk. He sat next to her and the pair sat in a silence that brought comfort to Imani. Most of the music was blocked out because Keshawn closed the door when they walked in so it wouldn't bother her.

Imani brought her knees to her chest laying the right side of her cheek on her knee. She stroked her calf lightly with her finger tips and a sigh left her mouth. She looked over at Keshawn much to her surprise he had already been looked at her. She gave him a lazy smile, which he returned. "Can I ask you something?" She finally spoke up, breaking the silence between them.

Keshawn nodded his head, unsure of what she was about to say. They hadn't shared an actually conversation so he was honestly curious to what she had to say.

"Do you not like me?" She asked him, and her voice cracked while speaking to him. If she was sober she would've never asked him this, she actually wouldn't even be sitting here alone him. Unfortunately, she couldn't control anything she said while she was drunk, nor how emotional she got while she was drunk.

"What do you mean?" Keshawn asked, her question catching him off guard.

Imani sniffled, quickly wiping the tear that fell from her eye. "Do you not like me?" She repeated, emphasizing her words more. "After you left I wrote you, a lot. Three hundred and sixty five times actually, and you never said anything back to me." She told him, and she wiped the tears that fell from her face. It sounded childish, but it really did mean something to Imani. She didn't know how else to keep in touch with Keshawn because she didn't have a phone back then, so she wrote him everyday for a year.

Keshawn's face softened when he looked over to see Imani crying. "Mani please don't cry." He pleaded, shifting closer to her and puling the girl into him. "I do like you Imani, and I know you wrote me." He tried to comfort her, caressing the girls arm. "You told me about how you started a YouTube channel one time. Another time you told me about how you got stuck in a bay swing at the playground with Isaiah and Iyana." He smiled at her laughter at the memory he reminded her of.

"I kept all of your letters Imani. Can we just please talk about this when you're Sober?" Keshawn asked, not wanting to make her cry anymore than she already was. She nodded her head not lifting her head from his shoulder.

Keshawn Harlowe
Friday, August 13th, 1:32am

Keshawn stayed in the bathroom with Imani for longer than he intended, and he had his volume in his phone barely audible not wanting to wake Imani up from under him. The mostly silent bath from gave his head time to rest and think about the chaotic night he had. He felt like he wasn't able to enjoy his evening because Kryslynn had been picking fights with him the whole time. Kryslynn began to nitpick everything she did recently, which always led to them arguing,or Kryslynn yelling at him for god knows how long.

Right now he had no idea where Kryslynn was at, and he chose not to worry about it because if she needed him she would've already found him. He looked at the notification that popped up on his phone, and Isaiah texted him saying everyone was about to leave. He told him they were walking out, and he shoved his phone into his pocket.

He looked down, seeing Imani fast asleep with no sign of waking up. He didn't try shaking her awake, because that was just a battle he wasn't going to win. He lifted her up gently trying to keep her asleep at least until they got to the car. He opened the bathroom door, and music still played through out the house, but it wasn't as packed as it was earlier. He looked for the front door of the house and he avoided the cups and liquid that was on the floor. The hallway to the front door was shirt and not many people were in there, just a few duos that held conversations about leaving soon.

He opened the front door Instantly spotting Isaiah's car. Amira must've left because her car wasn't parked next to Isaiah's like it was before. Isaiah looked at the boy questionably, before opening the door to the backseat. Keshawn placed the girl in the backseat and Iyana agreed to put her seatbelt on. "She fell asleep in the bathroom after she threw up and I just didn't want to wake her up." Keshawn explained, answering any of Isaiah's questions before he could even ask.

Isaiah nodded his head in understanding, walking over to the front door of his car. "Thanks for looking after her bro. I appreciate you." He thanked.

Keshawn sat in the passenger seat and he leaned against the door tiredly. He hadn't realized how late it was until he seen the time on his Lock Screen. He rubbed the temple of his forehead, resting his eyes for a short minute before someone interrupted the silence.

"Keshawn I ain't seen you ass since we got to the party, where you was at?" Iyana questioned.

"I was arguing with Kryslynn the whole night." He confessed, a sigh heard amongst the two siblings. Keshawn and Kryslynn have been arguing with each other constantly for the past couple of months actually. Keshawn didn't want to leave the relationship just because it was getting hard, but he felt like he valued what they had more than Imani did.

"It's just been a long ass night. Imani told me she didn't think I liked her anymore." He confessed, and both of the sub, inns seemed interested now.

"Who she think keep carrying her every time she fall asleep?" Isaiah questioned, and Keshawn just shrugged his shoulders. "You tryna stay the night, or you want me to drop you off?"

"I'll stay the night, I'll just text my mom where I'm at." Keshawn told him, pulling out his phone. Isaiah nodded his head turning to the route of their house.
