Imani Averette Wendsday, August 6th, 7:21 am
Imani sat on the subway next to her siblings while they were on the way to school. She was still trying to adjust to the form of transportation to get to school instead of just taking her car. When they came here her dad and Isaiah were the only ones with cars because both Iyana and Imani decided to sell theirs. They didn't wanna pay to have to get them sent over to New York, and it would just put more money in their pockets. They both knew they would be able to make up the money to buy a new car soon anyway.
The train came to a stop, and they got up from where they were seated so they could get off. Imani walked in the middle of them, following where they were going. Imani knew Iyana was talking about something, she just couldn't hear her because she had her wired headphones stuffed in her ears.
As soon as Imani's song switched, Iyana snatched one of the earbuds out her ear. Iyana looked at her with a teasing smile, while Imani mugged the girl. Sometimes Imani couldn't believe Iyana was older than her, because the girl acted like she was fresh out the womb. "Take those shits out ya ear. You can't even hear me talk." Iyana complained.
Imani threw her hands in the air, "Yeah, thank god." she joked with Iyana, making Isaiah laugh at the twins. Imani took the earbud from her hand and taking the other out of her ear.
The streets of New York were rather calm at this hour due to it being so early in the morning. She was very thankful that they didn't have to shove through crowds of people just to walk to school. Instead all she saw were other teens her age with book bags doing the same thing she was.
They were now two days into their new school, and Imani was finally starting to adjust. She felt like an angel crafted their schedules because she had almost every class with at least one of her siblings. It was only one period she had that neither of them were in. After that class they had lunch with each other, so she felt like that made up for it.
"Anyways yall, I think this girl really feelin me. She be walking me to class and she asked for my number." Iyana informed them. Iyana was definitely a lover girl at heart. She was quick to fall for somebody, and she was never afraid to admit that. The girl loves hard, and that was something she was proud about. That didn't mean she let people treat any which way. She's always quick to leave somebody where they had her messed up at. Cause according to Iyana nobody was bigger than her program.
Isaiah shook his head, looking at the girl who was cheesing. He couldn't help but to laugh at the girl, "Yana, already?"
Iyana just shrugged her shoulders, "It don't take long for girls to get used to a beauty like me." she gassed herself up.
"I still haven't gotten used to you." Imani looked at her with a straight face as she heard Isaiah laughing next to her.
Iyana rolled her eyes, "Don't make me slap yo ass into new roman."
