Imani had just finished off her drink when she heard one of her old favorite songs playing on the speakers. The intro to "Rolex" played and Imani eyes instantly perked up. Imani had a weird obsession with the song, mostly because she listened to it about a million times when she was younger. Imani walked away from the wall and Amira followed after the girl not wanting to leave her by herself.
She walked to the living room, seeing people crowded around and Imani pushed through to see what was going on. It was multiple going in and out of a dancing circle and it fueled her urge to join it. She watched two guys in a circle who seemed to be dancing against each other and Imani couldn't control her laughter, she couldn't control her laughter towards anything. Before Amira could even find time to stop the girl Imani was on a table in the circle dancing on a table she spotted. Amira looked at the girl in surprise seeing other people record her, but Imani was probably too drunk to care.
The music started to mellow out hearing people screaming, but lucky enough people were yelling the lyrics so she didn't need the song as much. The lights flashing in her face started to make her dizzy and she tried to hold her head up as she danced on the table. She saw Isaiah in the crowd of people and he looked at her absolutely dumbfounded. She pointed at him, flashing a smile towards him, but suddenly her knees got weak and she stumbled off the table.
Isaiah rushed over to girl, grabbing her arms and placing one of them around his shoulder helping her stand up. "Imani, how much did you have to drink?" Isaiah walked around trying to find one of their friends.
"Why? Are you gonna get me one?" She giggled, laying her head on his shoulder.
Isaiah immediately shook her head, "Youn need nothing else to drink Imani." He told her, not being mean knowing she was more sensitive to what he said when he was drunk. He saw Keshawn by himself, and he let out a sigh of relief walking towards him. "Can you keep an eye on Imani for me? I needa find Iyana."
Keshawn looked over at the drunken girl leaning into him, and he nodded his head in agreement deciding not to question him. He took the girl into his grasp, and Imani's head fell on his chest as she chose not to hold herself up. "Hi Keshawn." She greeted him, looking up at him lazily.
Keshawn's body tensed up at how close the two were, surprised that she was even talking to him, even though she was drunk. "Hey mani."
The girl gagged in her mouth, using her hand to cover her mouth. "I think I'm about to throw up." She warned, as her body got tense. Keshawn hurriedly walked her over to a bathroom he had found earlier in hopes he wouldn't throw up anywhere on a floor. He twisted the knob to the hallway bathroom and had a silent moment of thankfulness that there wasn't anybody in there.
Imani retched over the toilet, and vomit quickly spewed out of her mouth. Each second the she was over the toilet she regretted drinking with Adonis. She knew she couldn't even handle too much alcohol, so she didn't know why in a million years she drunk as much as she did. She felt Keshawns rubbing circles on the small of her back as he held her hair back from around her face.
She lifted her head from the toilet, using her elbows to hold herself up. She used her fingers to wipe her eyes, and usual,y after she threw up she would sober up, but this time that wasn't the case. She sat down on the bathroom floor, leaning her back against the cold wall. Keshawn was leaned against the counter, but Imani couldn't too much focus on him while she was still trying to endure the pain she was in. Even after she threw up her stomach was still feeling queasy.
