Imani really didn't wanna go. She just wanted to stay home and go to bed. She'd really do that all day if she could. On the other hand, she didn't want to disappoint her friends. She really did enjoy their presence, and she didn't want them to think she didn't want to hang out with them.

Imani shook her, making Amira so her hands and bring her into a hug. Imani broke out into a smile hugging her back.

Imani was walking over to her lunch table with Rilynn and Kryslynn after Rilynn grabbed a pizza from the lunch line. The two were discussing what outfits to wear tonight after Adonis sent the party flyer to the group chat they made. The three siblings were added recently after meeting up with them at lunch the first time.

"I was thinking about wearing this true religion skirt set I just bought." Kryslynn said, before a snicker escaped her mouth. "I think Keshawn might get jealous, but he's so cute when he's jealous."

Imani eyebrows raised at the statement, hoping Kryslynn didn't notice her reaction.

Rilynn looked at her with a side eye before chuckling, "Girl, you have got be stopped." she joked, "Y'all are so toxic together."

Imani laughed considering Rilynn's joking manner, but she wasn't quite sure how much of a joke it was.

Kryslynn turned to look at Imani, "Imani, do you think we're toxic?"

Imani's eyebrows scrunched up, hesitating to answer the question. Rilynn reached her hand over, placing it on Imani wrist. "Don't answer that question." Rilynn warned her.

Imani sat down at their lunch table, seating herself next to Amira.

"Soo, is everyone ready to party arty." Amira commented, followed by her laughter.

Isaiah looked at her with a cringed expression, "Don't say that shit again mira."

While they were on the topic, Imani started thinking about their ride situation, which they were yet to talk about. "Well, how are we going to get to said party?" Imani questioned.

Keshawn pointed at Isaiah, who looked at him like he had grown three legs. "Nigga you the one who was just talking bout yo new car." Keshawn brought up.

Isaiah rolled his eyes at his statement, "That don't mean I want yall asses in it." Isaiah took a bite of his pizza, ignoring the laughs from across the table. "And all of us aren't gonna fit in there anyway.

"I could drive too, we could meet up at someone's house then go to the party." Amira offered.

They had later agreed to stay at Imani's house after the party. The bell rung, and Imani rode from the table knowing she had a far walk to class. Rilynn followed after her since they shared the same class.

"I've been meaning to ask, how'd you meet Keshawn?" Rilynn asked.

Imani titled her head, trying to trace back to the first memory she had of Keshawn. She remembered being out in her driveway, watching Isaiah and Iyana argue over who was going to take the ball first before they played each other again. Imani was the one to notice Keshawn across the street from them while he was dribbling the ball by his self. It really did make her feel bad that he was playing by himself. Imani never had to deal with that because she always had her siblings, so she just couldn't imagine having to hang out by herself.
