After forgiving each other that day, we went back to my house to retrieve my things. Making it clear with my sister that I, (Last Name) (First Name), was moving out. Of course she objected and hissed insults, but, he was there. Defending me. Walking up the stairs and taking my things, yelling, "She's going to live with me! And there's nothing you can do to stop that!" It made my heart flutter at his declaration. And to be honest with you, he made me happy. "You can break my soul, take my life away, beat me, hurt me...but for the love of god, don't ever touch her, hurt her, beat her, take her from me, ever!" He grabbed my hand, leaving the house, grumbling over the fact that he didn't know my sister was like that and that whole time I was living with her. Not exactly, "living" with her, but dealt with her.

Had you really meant what you said, Aomine? We only knew each other for a short time, but you're acting like you love me...I'm not someone to be loved, I'm nothing.

"Oi, (First Name). You're thinking about something aren't you, I told you, we need to communicate more." He brought me closer to his side while we both sat in the library together.

I had to force him to come or else I wouldn't speak to him again, which he quickly agreed with a pink hue added to his cheeks. He may be an idiot, but-

"Why me?" I looked down at the table, unable to meet the gaze observing me. He cocked a brow as he gripped my chin, making me look at him, "What do you mean, "Why me?"? And, you're suppose to look at the person when you're talking to them, ya know."

I'm not good at this...am I...?

"I-I...mean. Why me? Why did you pick me..? Out of all the people out there to look after and like, why me? I'm a nobody..." My gaze went back down as afterwards, he brought it back up. He sighed and nervously rubbed the back of his neck, then groaning.

"Because...I think I don't like you," What...? "but I love you." His lips were in a straight line, his eyes piercing through mine. I felt like a deer in the headlights, stunned.

"Y-You love me?"

"I'm not finished. Nothing lasts forever, so will you be my nothing...?" Just as I was going to reply more; he stunned me again, this time with a pick-up line. I started to giggle lightly, it then turned to laughing, which his cheeks bloomed a dark red colour.

"What's so funny?!"

"Sh!"

I turned away and hid my face from his seeing it any longer before I burst out in tears from the pain that lingered in my stomach from laughing too hard.

"I-I can't believe you said that!" I bursted out laughing, covering my mouth shortly after. But, it wasn't like it mattered, we were soon kicked out of the library for being too noisy.

Aomine sat in my room as I attempted to tutor him due to his grades being low, "Geez...I thought it'd be easier than Satsuki trying to teach me, but it's even worse when the Student Body Pres. is teaching, huh?" He scratched his head, unsure of the problem I gave him. I rolled my eyes, obnoxiously he was a total idiot. I ignored the pleas of his begging to give him a break, which I solemnly refused.

"Oh, we have a trip next week, you comin'?" He asked, trying to hide that he was slowly pushing the work I gave him away. I used my foot to slide it back as I was already sitting on a chair while he was already sitting on the floor. I closed the magazine I was reading and looked upwards for a moment.

I hesitantly nodded, not wanting to start another yelling war with him. After all, I couldn't risk him getting in trouble, could I? Or was it that? That of which I cared about him.

Caring about someone feels weird...

"Good, you're coming. I don't want to be stuck with Satsuki."

So that's the reason he asked...

He looked back down at the paper, hunching his back as he frustratedly leaned his forward in the palm of his hand, his elbow resting on his knee.

"Hey, Aomine...?"

He grunted a quick hum.

"I like you, too."

Please take good care of me...
