Aunt Li was dragged away by her maid, her defiant screams echoing in the mourning hall, giving Wei Ye, who hadn't had a good rest, a headache. He rubbed his temples uncomfortably, when he suddenly heard a strange man chuckle behind him.

Wei Ye turned around in surprise and saw a tall and handsome young man who had appeared at the door at some point. He was wearing a dark blue military uniform, carrying a riding whip in his hand, and his military boots were walking slowly into the mourning hall.

The gatekeeper ran over a step too late, wiping his sweat, and said, "Second Master, you arrived too quickly. I haven't had time to announce your arrival yet."

Xie Junya raised an eyebrow slightly, his dark eyes deep and sharp like cold stars. "So, I need to report back to the Xie family?"

Wei Ye said gently, "Second brother, you're joking. This will always be your home."

"This is..." Xie Junya had just learned that Xie Wenxiu had married a man. He found it absurd and uttered two words with a hint of amusement: "Sister-in-law."

Wei Ye nodded slightly and walked towards him. His excellent physique could not be concealed by the wide sleeves of his robe. The light blue hem swayed gently with his movements, reminiscent of spring willows or blue lotuses.

Xie Junya's gaze fell on him, and he curled his lips into a smile. "Sister-in-law, you really wear a skirt." There was a one-finger-wide scar at the end of his handsome brow bone. Even with a smile on his lips, he couldn't suppress his sharp military and bandit aura.

These words were abrupt and impolite, but no one in the room dared to utter a sound.

Wei Ye's gaze faded. "My second brother comes from the military, so he probably doesn't like it."

Xie Junya felt he couldn't stand it, but he couldn't help but glance at him a few more times.

Upon closer inspection, Wei Ye's face appeared somewhat haggard, like a crabapple blossom with its petals and leaves fallen after a rain, which only accentuated its richer and more vibrant colors.

Xie Junya had killed countless people on the battlefield, exuding a murderous aura. Xie Wenxiu couldn't get close to him from the moment he appeared, only able to see that Xie Junya's attitude towards Wei Ye was not respectful. Just as he was frowning, he suddenly heard the servant Changqing shout loudly, "Madam!"

The soft body turned over, and Xie Junya instinctively reached out his arm to catch it.

Xie Lao Er: I can't stand it.

After a while: Take a few more glances.

A delicate fragrance wafted into his nostrils. Even the most expensive perfumes that Xie Erye had smelled could not compare to the natural scent before him.

When I tried to smell it again, the ethereal fragrance had vanished.
Changqing caught up, and Xie Junya paused for a moment before pushing the dizzy person in his arms to him, his smile carrying a hint of mockery, "You're quite frail."

Changqing explained, "Madam stayed up all night looking at the account books, and didn't eat breakfast this morning..."

Xie Junya nodded casually, noticing, "Is he in charge of the Xie family business now?"

"Yes, it's Madam who's in charge. Yesterday, quite a few relatives came to visit..." Butler Hu hurriedly stepped forward, bowing and smiling obsequiously, and recounted what had happened yesterday.
