Lan Ting? The one who stole his gasoline?
"Thank you, I'm fine." Wei Ye took a step back, looked up, and subtly sized up the young man beside him.

The handsome young man was dressed in all black, a fitted black leather trench coat and long boots that accentuated his slender waist and long legs.
Most striking was his short, silver-dyed hair, which fluttered in the wind as he turned to look at the group, making him both handsome and dashing.

The people on the ground were scrambling to their feet.

"Whoever runs, the lighter in my hand might burn them." Lan Ting chuckled, a small, lively spark appearing on his fingertip.
No one knew how he manipulated it, but in an instant, the spark shot high, like a burst of fireworks, a divine touch that startled the group.

"For the sake of our shared misfortune, I'll borrow your lighter too." He winked at Wei Ye, who then belatedly realized his lighter was gone.

  This guy's hands are fast.

Scarface was a notorious figure in the underworld, and the group chasing Lan Ting was a thief gang entrenched in the vicinity. Lin Tianhao's men were elite, yet they were now blocked from their escape route by the two men and dared not move.
Some of these men knew each other, while others did not. They exchanged glances, all inwardly groaning.

You two are in the same boat? They are the ones being persecuted now!

Scarface, his neck stiff, shouted, "I don't believe you dare to kill anyone?"

Lan Ting glanced at Wei Ye, who was completely different from what he had imagined. This "brother in the same boat" was unexpectedly young. The boy's face was soft in the moonlight, his temperament clean and clear, and the suppressed fear in his dark eyes did not seem like that of such a heartless person.
He chuckled, "So, even a rabbit will bite when cornered."

  Rabbit Wei Ye: "..."

He glared at Lan Ting and then pulled out a spare lighter from his pocket. He waved it in front of Scarface, demonstrating that he was not only ruthless but also well-prepared and meticulous.

Scarface, his forehead dripping with cold sweat, forced a fawning smile and apologies. "Wei Ye, you're my elder brother, you're my master! Please, put the fire back down. Let me go today, and I'll never ask you for money again, and I'll pay you back all the money I owe you!"

Wei Ye pursed his lips. "I borrowed 20,000 from you, and I've paid back over 60,000 over the past two years."

Lan Ting scoffed, "Such high interest? This is bullying a kid."

"I'll just consider that money as feeding the dogs." Wei Ye's chest heaved deeply, as if trying to calm the grievances and resentment rising within him. He said coldly, "From now on, we're even. You're not allowed to cause me any more trouble." The ruthless are afraid of those

who have no fear of death.
Faced with this situation, Scarface couldn't help but swear an oath never to return. He tore up the IOU on the spot and fled with his men.
He forced the three burly men to leave a recording as evidence that Lin Tianhao had hired someone to attack Wei Ye before letting them go.

The remaining thieves also tried to run away, but Lan Ting stopped them.
“Brother, please have mercy!” the leader pleaded, his face contorted with misery. “We’ve always kept to ourselves, but you double-crossed us and stole our goods, that’s why we chased after you. Honestly, we’re in the right.”

Lan Ting remained unfazed. “What double-crossing? I’m acting on behalf of Heaven.”

Wei Ye: “…” This guy was even more of a heavyweight.
