The Sun and the Sea

The beach, where the breeze whispers in my ear,

And the waves dance off the coast as far as I can see.

Peace is always certain because the world is nowhere near,

As I lay here in the sand as the sun shines down on me.

Where the shells wash up to shore and get buried in the sand,

And the crabs dart back and forth in their blissful little glee.

The fronds flitter in the wind as they spread across the land,

As I sit here in the sea as the sun gleams down on me.

Where the water glistens in the sun like freshly fallen snow,

And the seagulls soar up in the sky as they are always free.

The fish glimmer through the sea with nowhere they need to go,

As I glide across the water as the sun glints down on me.
