Pressures of the Night

Chapter Seven

Liam actually managed to convince Zayn into leaving the house so they can all go out to a nice breakfast place which is exactly how they ended up back in the boy's room fighting over what he should wear. Liam was set on white onesie, that way he'd be comfy but also matching with Louis, where as Harry wanted him to wear something a bit nicer.

"How about while they argue we go pick something out ourselves. That sound good to you?" Niall whispers to the boy who nods in return. So the two make their way into Zayn's closet where the boy quickly grabs his dark green beanie.

"Wan' wear this," Zayn says softly and Niall coos a bit.

"Okay you can wear that, babe. Let's pick out some actual clothes first, though. We don't want you walking around in your nappy," Niall says while tugging at the boy's pants a bit which causes him to blush. Zayn ends up grabbing a grey three quarter sleeve shirt he had hung up and Niall picked out a pair of loose cargo shorts that way the nappy wouldn't be noticeable. Once the boy was changed, Niall and him walked back out of the closet where Liam and Harry had finally come to a conclusion.

"Alright, babe, we agreed on the one- oh you changed him," Liam says with a pout and Niall can only force up a small laugh.

"Next time, Liam. He chose his outfit today," Niall says as he walks out of the room holding Zayn's hand. From there, Harry goes to get Louis ready before the five are meeting up in the living room and out the door they went on their first "family" outing.

As Harry opened the car door for Louis and Zayn, the latter boy immediately took notice of the new addings in the car and he couldn't help but look up at Harry with wide eyes. However, the man simply cooed before lifting Zayn up and into his new carseat. Once they were both settled, Harry sat in between the two while Liam got into the driver's seat and Niall beside him.

The five began their long drive out of the countryside, they were an hour away from the nearest restaurant, to the sounds of Louis' nursery rhymes playing in the background. Louis has always loved his nursery rhymes, so it came to no surprise when he immediately began to belt out the Itsy Bitsy Spider while doing the designated hand gestures. The same couldn't be said about Zayn, though. The young boy found it quite amusing to watch Louis sing with all his might, however, after the third song he began to get sick of it and he just wished the boys would put on real music.

Upon noticing the boy's growing frown, Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone before discreetly handing it over to Zayn while gesturing that he could play a game. With the new device in his hands, Zayn couldn't help but smile while quietly thanking Harry. So for the remaining hour, Louis continued to sing his nursery rhymes while Zayn played Whale Trail before they finally arrived at their destination.

"C'mon, boys, time to fill our tummies," Niall cooed as he opened the side door to Louis' side. The blonde man quickly helped Louis out, while detaching his dummy from the hood of his onesie before giving Harry a hand as well.

"Let's get you out on this side, it'll be much faster," Liam says as he opened the door next to Zayn, which only scared the boy a little bit. So Liam lifted Zayn out of his seat and onto the ground where once the boy was standing, Liam was quick to pull back the back of his shorts just to do a double check.

"Liam!" Zayn squeaks while turning around so Liam would have to let go, which he did.

"I was just checking, baby. You didn't need a change this morning and that was a long car ride. I expect you to need a change before we go back home," Liam says while pointing his finger at Zayn but the boy simply puts his head down, so Liam just sighs and grabs ahold of the boy's hand before leading him over to the other boys.
