August

I been bored out here without Kaelyn , but I been working on a lot of new music. I sat in the studio listening to my music when Rihanna walked in.

"Oh, hey. Sorry, I didn't know you were here."

"Nah, you good. I was just leaving." I said getting up from my chair.

"Oh. Good night, Aug. Your music sounds great by the way." she smiled.

"Thanks. Your music sound good too." I smirked and left out the studio.

I don't have nothing better to do so I'm gonna go stop by and see T. I drove down to the gas station and pumped my gas, but I wore shades and a hat because fans be coming at the least expected times. My phone buzzed in my pocket indicating that I had a message.

I called her and put her on speaker so I could drive.

"Hey, babe." she answered with a lot of noise in the background.

"Hey, baby."

"I miss you. " she whined.

"Who you miss?" I heard a male voice say. I frowned, but I'm sure it's a family member.

"Move away from me, Emet." she calmly stated.

"Who's that on the phone?"

"My boyfriend, bitch. Now move."

"Oooooooh ! Auntie, did you hear your daughter?" the person yelled like a child causing me to chuckle a bit.

"I'm grown; I can say whatever I want."

"I bet you want yell it loud."

"Okay." she started. "Hold on, August."

"That nigga name August? He sound gay." He laughed.

"He obviously not if he with me, dumb ass."

"He might be cheating. You never know." I smacked my teeth.

"Shut the fuck up, bitch! I can't stand you!" she yelled.

"I know y'all hear this. If I say something like that, I get in trouble. " he complained.

"Somebody get this child away from me." she said then I heard a lot of motion until it got quiet.

"I'm sorry, August. That was my cousin." she sighed.

"You good, baby. I miss you, too."

"We still have like a whole week and a half until Brooklyn's birthday. " she complained.

"Yeah, just hang in there until then."

"Well, I have something to tell you." she said nervously.

"Gon' 'head." I said stopping at a light.

"I have to go back to work. " she sighed.

"That nigga making you go back? I swear if he is I'm coming out there right now!" I asked upset.

"No, I'm going at my own will. I don't like what I do, but it gets me good money. I gotta do what I gotta do."

"Baby, I told you I got you. You don't need to be working at no strip club." I said driving again.

"August, that's what I'm doing. Point, blank, period."

"Alright, Kaelyn. I'll talk to you later."

She sighed. "Bye, Aug."

Damn. I need a blunt. I continued to drive until I reached T house. I hopped out and knocked on the door.

"What's up , Aug ?" he asked opening the door.

"Uh , you gon' let a nigga in?" I chuckled.

"Yea, come on."

I walked in and sat on his couch.

"What's up? Why you over here so late?"

"Kaelyn, man." I sighed rubbing my hand down my face.

"Li'l chick from Miami?" I nodded. "What happened?"

"Man, I️ don't feel like talking I just need a blunt." I said bluntly.

"How you getting home?"

"Just give it to me, then I'll wait until I get to the crib."

"Don't be inviting nobody over, Aug."

"I ain't making no promises." T shook his head and passed me the blunt. I got up and left, but during the ride, I called one of my old hoes, Brielle.

"Hello?"

"Aye, ma. I need you to come by my house."

"When? Right now?"

"Yea."

"K. I'll be there." she said before hanging up.

I know this is wrong , but this is what I need. Sorry, baby.
