"She was heading north," Agnes said, handing her the photo. "just five miles from the Canadian border."
In that moment the Raven's mind was made; this wasn't gonna end like this. Her soul won't let her rest until she pays back what she was given;
a life.
Without Enid risking her human life, to save her gloomy, misunderstood one, they would be here, packing together, for the summer vacay that has been given to them sooner than anticipated.
And after the short, yet promising meet with her family, she stood in front of Nevermore, lightly packed, waiting for Fester.
Thanks to Agnes, Thing, and Bianca, they were able to fully teach Wednesday how to navigate throguh a phone; a phone that belonged to Enid, whom left it near Wednesday's burial site. She acknowleged that she should keep them in touch, since they were Enid's peers, too.
Her uncle came sooner than she thought, being the mindless, yet smart fellow, he did some unwanted tricks. Wednesday quickly shut him down, making him embark on their roadtrip.
The greatest action a person can do to an Addams is risking their life for them, and Enid did so. A bit of worry was brought up, since Enid's human self could've been removed from the werewolf.
But she had hopes. After spending a day in her werewolf body, the Raven noticed some...feelings, she might say.
Like how the body was agile, a perk of a werewolf, but also a person that is motivated. Or when she saw her own body, there was something softening her bones, something whose source was unknown to her.
"So you said north, how far north?" Fester asked her.
"Until we see a werewolf, or anything about a werewolf being spotted." Wednesday said. "And drive faster, another grave is out of the question."
"I always thought that rainbow girlie would become your friend, if not more." Fester chuckled.
"I don't do friends, and it's absent-minded of you to think I do even more." The girl replied harshly.
But she hadn't really paid attention to herself the whole semester. With her powers getting weaker, the absurd fights with her mother, and the whole Morning Song ordeal, had she had time to puff out?
Maybe being comatose has its perks, she hasn't got a rest like that in her lifetime. But also...if she compares it to her vegetative state as a corpse, that wasn't as restful; maybe because her mind was occupied.
She closed her eyes, and focused. Per her calculations, she shouldn't force any of her powers to see her own thoughts before she shut down for a while.
At least, my weak brother won't pay the price of death. Feeling of the roots digging into my neck is a new one, certainly not something you feel everyday. A first time someone properly kidnapped me, I can give credits for that. I heard Agnes's breath near-by, if she won't get caught, maybe my mother will have a place to put my gravestone on. Or maybe Enid...at least her death is long gone, and she can prosper as the Alpha werewolf she will become. At last...a friend...my friend...my...Enid...
Her vision ended, since by that time in the past she was dead. Were those her thoughts before facing the darkness itself? Isn't there a saying dead words are the wisest words?
Did she call Enid her own? Despite knowing Enid was...
...meant to be alone...?
Is that...why her brain thought of it? To make sure neither of us ended up alone?
These thoughts are melting my brain.

"This is as far as we can go today," Fester said, as they stopped at a motel. "but we will resume tomorrow!"
