Enid knew her roommate as the back of her own hand. Wednesday was aggressive, hurtful, and also a killer (sometimes), but when she discovered something new about Wednesday, she had a totally different look on her.

It was two days ago, and Enid was on her way back to her dorm. Playfully holding Yoko's hand, who tried to "escort" the happy werewolf to her dorm, they both saw some people grouping together.

"What if it's something new?" Enid chirped and made their way through the people to the front. They were all standing right next to a fencing classroom, and everyone, Enid including, heard crying from there. It was normal to hear cries from there; some people were coming to the hospital from there. But this was something else...a cry of despair.

No one was brave enough to walk inside and see, who could it be. Enid somehow matched the crying to one particular voice she learned to love...

Wednesday.

She stepped in front of the door, and opened it, leaving a gap big enough for her to slide in, and disallow people to see inside. She quickly closed the door behind her, and sure enough, she was right.

In the middle of the whole classroom was Wednesday, her knees close to her chest as she was sobbing into them. Enid was surprised to see Wednesday cry, especially after Wednesday swore many times that she would never show any affection. Yet, she was doing it right now.

"Wednesday?" Enid quietly and calmly asked as she sat down next to her. Knowing beforehand that Wednesday wasn't a hugger, Enid wrapped one of her arms around Wednesday.

But Wednesday surprised her; the girl leaned onto Enid, and wrapped both of her arms around Enid, now letting tears fall out onto Enid's chest. Enid didn't mind having her uniform wet, she only wanted to know why was Wednesday crying.

After a while, Enid felt something being placed in her hand. She felt it; it was a phone, with a case covered in crystals. It was Wednesday's phone.

"Open the messages," Wednesday mumbled, her voice being silenced by Enid's sweater and her cries.

Enid did as she was told to. She unlocked her phone, and instantly saw her background; she and Wednesday, both sipping morning coffee in the early sunbeams, and they were in their matching pajamas. Enid smiled and opened the messages. There was a lot of conversation, mostly between her and her mother, but she also saw their own.

"The unknown number." Enid looked closely, seeing one conversation with an unknown number. She opened it, and read it.

Unknown number
So, you are still alive...
What if we ended it...now?

You are funny...can't even win

There were much more messages, but she mostly got what she needed; Wednesday had a deadly stalker.

"Wednesday, why didn't you tell me?" Enid asked.

"I had solved my problems for my whole life. Alone." "But I am here to help you! And always will be!" Enid said sternly, as Wednesday seemed...

...sad?

"Wends, are you okay?" Enid asked as Wednesday went silent, even her sobs paused.

"Yeah, it's easy to deal with it," Wednesday said.

As she reached back for her phone, she didn't notice Enid screenshotting the messages and sending them to herself. Enid let go of the phone as Wednesday snatched it successfully.

Enid felt bad. She knew Wednesday was more than capable of handling anything looking like a threat, but when she saw her broken, it hurt Enid as well. Wednesday wasn't much of a touchy person, yet, she now totally was.
