A week has passed since Enid confirmed her colorblindness, and she began acting...weird. The cheerful and talkative Enid was gone, replaced by a grumpy and introverted wolf.

Wednesday noticed it clearly, seeing she is with her almost all the time. Enid also began to be more needy in terms of touch, coming to Wednesday more often to request a hug.

But Wednesday changed too; she let Enid hug her. Or she came to Enid and wrapped her without saying a word.

It was late evening, and Wednesday had just changed into her pajamas, only to find Enid standing in the middle of the room.

"Something's wrong?" Wednesday asked, looking at Enid, who had her head down.

"Today...it's 6 years," Enid said, lifting her head up. Wednesday was shocked hearing this and immediately felt bad for Enid...again.

"Come here," Wednesday said quietly, opening her arms for Enid, who walked to her, and let Wednesday embrace her. The blonde silently began crying into her shoulder, as Wednesday continued to caress her back. Even if Wednesday didn't want to say it, she needed Enid's touch.

Enid latched onto Wednesday's shoulders and wrapped her legs around her waist. Wednesday hasn't moved an inch, letting Enid do whatever she wanted.

"Enid, can I help you?" Wednesday asked the crying girl. She now understood why Enid had been so weird; the memories she experienced were back.

Enid didn't reply in any way, her grip on Wednesday just became stronger. Wednesday noticed it wasn't going anywhere, so she slowly walked towards her bed, sitting carefully down.

"Enid, how can I make you come back to yourself again?"

This made Enid lose her grip on Wednesday, and her sobs stopped. She lifted herself off from Wednesday, who was looking at her with a very concerned look.

"Enid, I miss your old self, and I regret anything I told you to lead you to this," Wednesday said. "But I want to help you."

"There's no help, Wednesday." Enid finally spoke.

"Enid, we live in modern times, there is a wa-" "I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY!" Enid screamed, jumping out of Wednesday's embrace.

Wednesday looked at her, with a tear forming in her eyes.

"This was about the money?" Wednesday asked with concern in her voice.

"Yes! It's one of the most expensive surgeries in the world, and no insurance is willing to pay for it!" Enid shouted at her, her eyes letting tears flow out.

Wednesday hadn't said anything, just listened.

"And my mother said I don't deserve it, that there was no reason to pay for that surgery," Enid said, wiping her tears off. "That's how my family loves me."

"Enid..." Wednesday stood up and walked over to Enid. "...when I say I want to help you, I mean it."

"I jus-" "Enid, I want to pay for your surgery, can't you understand that?" Wednesday cut her off. "I want the Enid I grew to love over a few months back, even if it made me kill myself."

Enid was shocked at the sudden outburst coming from her roommate.

"Please, Enid, let me help you." She whispered, slowly wrapping her arms around Enid.

"Wednesday, I-" "I don't want anything for it," Wednesday said. "Just the real Enid I miss this week."

Enid didn't know how to thank Wednesday properly. So, probably out of her werewolf instincts, she immediately kissed her, with her hands cupping her face. She immediately realized what she had done, and pulled away, seeing Wednesday was surprised.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Wednesday, it was my instinct to thank you and I did-" She felt a hand caress her cheek, making her rambling stop.

"Who would've thought werewolves could give such sweet kisses?" Wednesday joked, making Enid blush.

"Oh come on, I am not angry at you," Wednesday said, seeing Enid facing the other way. She grabbed her face, and pecked her lips quickly, making her fluster even more.

"Stop." Enid giggled and wrapped Wednesday in a hug.
