"No mum, I'm alright," Enid said while talking to her mother on her phone.
"Yeah, everything is fine." She said, looking at the drawing she was scribbling while she listened to her mother.
"*Achoo!*" She heard echoing in their room. She turned her head slightly, and looked at Wednesday, who was reading a book on her bed.
"Wednesday, you alright?" Enid asked, gaining the girl's attention.
"Yes." She replied, coldly as always.
"Mhm, alri-" "*Achoo!*" Came again from Wednesday.
"I'll call you tomorrow if I have time. Bye, mum." Enid said and hung up. "So, care to tell me where you were yesterday?"
"No," Wednesday said, not taking her eyes off the book. But after a while, she saw Wednesday slightly shiver.
Enid took her own blanket from her bed, stood up, and walked towards Wednesday. Without words, she placed the blanket over the smaller girl.
"What are yo-*Achoo!*- doing?" Wednesday asked, but not resisting.
"Making sure...you...are...warm," Enid explained while tugging the blanket so it covered her whole body. "There."
"Enid, I am alright," Wednesday said, but Enid shook her head.
"No, you aren't," Enid said, and reached for Wednesday's forehead with her arm, to which Wednesday slapped her with the book.
"Away." "No, I need to know if you have a fever or just flu," Enid said, not stepping away, even if her hand hurt.
Eventually, Wednesday lifted herself slightly up, so Enid could touch her forehead, from which she quickly pulled away.
"Jesus, you are burning!" Enid said, looking with worry at Wednesday.
"I would like to burn, Sinclair," Wednesday replied, but Enid ignored it, as she was running to their bathroom.
Soon she came back with a wet towel, which quickly appeared on Wednesday's forehead.
"I'm gonna run to the infirmary, and god protect you if you move," Enid said, running out.
Cute and cold-blooded...sometimes. Wednesday smirked and resumed reading the book.

Enid ran back into their dorm, with something in a bottle.
"Okay, I got it," Enid said, catching her breath. "You actually... listened."
Wednesday nodded, not looking at her, but rather still at her book. Enid poured some of the liquid onto a spoon and came closer to Wednesday.
"Don't try the 9/11 joke," Wednesday said, and finally looking at her. "Or you'll be the tower and my fist will be the plane."
"Come on, it's just medicine!" "Fuck you and your medicine, Enid," Wednesday said, and resumed reading again. Enid lost her patience and grabbed the book from her hands.
"Enid," Wednesday said, while Enid was hovering with the spoon over her. She slowly moved it towards her, when she caught the scent.
"As much as I love fire, this is ethanol," Wednesday said, following the spoon with her eyes.
"Wednesday, don't argue and just swallow this for god's sake," Enid said, becoming fed up with Wednesday.
"No." "Oh fuck you Wednesday," Enid said, pouring the liquid back into the bottle.
"So you want to fuck me, Sinclair?"
This made Enid freeze. Not only was she surprised to hear what she heard, but also that Wednesday revealed right in front of her, at this moment, that she could be into girls. Which would make sense after her... relationships, which ended in death.
"N-no." Enid replied, but then felt a hand on her waist.
"Give me that shit, maybe it tastes like diesel," Wednesday said, as Enid began pouring some of it on the spoon. She moved closer to Wednesday for it, and placed it into her mouth, Wednesday swallowing it.
"Okay, now you stay under these, and after a few hours, we'll check," Enid explained, put away the medicine, and gave her the book back, along with the plushie she bought her for her birthday. Wednesday didn't argue and brought it closer to her.
Before Enid left her, Wednesday looked at her with sad eyes, like she was begging for something.
"Wednesday, you look cute now," Enid said and stood up. "Try to get some sleep."
She leaned over to Wednesday and placed a quick kiss on her forehead.
"My mum says it helps," Enid explained her actions.
