"Couple years ain't nothing." Keshawn joked, "You still think you better than me?"
Isaiah chuckled, shaking his head. "Nigga ion think, I know. Thought we discovered that when I crossed you out yo shoes."
Keshawn cracked a smile, "Isaiah you know that shit ain't never happened."
The game started, and Isaiah was taking the ball down the court looking at where's everyone was on the court. Isaiah was a point guard, so he knew his role was to find scoring opportunities for his team and he was good at that. Isaiah looked at one of his teammates who was in the paint, and made a sharp pass over to him. The ball was shot, and after it fell through the net the opposing team picked it up.
While playing Isaiah set up Keshawn for plenty of scoring opportunities that he took. It had took them some time to get used to playing together again, but once they got past that they felt the same chemistry they used to have.
Isaiah brought the ball back down on game point waiting to see who he should pass to. Instead of passing the ball immediately he drove into the paint before swinging it to the corner where Keshawn was. Keshawn caught the pass before shooting the ball and scoring the game point. The pair excitedly ran towards each other dapping each other up before taunting iyanna about her loss.
Isaiah, Iyana, and Keshawn played basketball for two hours before they all decided they should leave. The three were taking their shoes off together waiting to leave with each other. "Yall both got better since I seen yall play. Almost better than me." Keshawn complimented their skills, while also joking with them.
Iyana scoffed, "Almost? I been better than you."
Keshawn shook his head, "On what?"
"On yo soul nigga."
Both Keshawn and Isaiah laughed at what she said. "Don't put that shit on me."
They all stood up, walking out the gym doors. "You tryna come to my house? My dad been asking bout you ever since I told him I seen you at school." Isaiah asked.
Iyana nodded her head agreeing with what her brother was saying. "When yall gon bring ole boy over here?" she mocked her dads voice, making the two boys laugh.
Keshawn kissed his teeth, "Shit, ya pops cooking? Hungrier than a motherfucker right now."
Isaiah laughed, shaking his head, "Yall know that man can't cook. Let's go to the deli first."
"Say no more."
With that, the trio took a different way back to the Averette household to get to the deli quicker. The siblings were still relatively new to New York, but they definitely were finding their way around.
Isaiah walked in, going into the drink aisle. He picked out an arizona tea for himself. He was disappointed that the didn't have a gallon jug for him to buy. To know Isaiah, was to know that he loved arizona tea.
He was walking down the chip aisle to get something for Imani, because he couldn't forget about his sister. He looked at the shelves trying to see which one he thought Imani would want. As he continued to walk down the aisle, he noticed the person behind him copying his walking pattern. He tried to ignore it, figuring he was just being delusional.
