It was even scarier not knowing where the taggers are, but the place was big with multiple doors. You wondered how long it even took to make this place, or anywhere really.
Hyun-ju peaked into a corner to check if its safe, and nodded. "Let's go." He tried unlocking the door, but couldn't. He looked into the peephole and saw it was a different shape from his. He turned to look at your key that was around to your neck. "Its this one, can I borrow it?"
Confused you took off the key from your neck and gave it to him, he gave you a smile and opened the door. Inside was a room, a very pink room, the walls were drawn with flowers all over it.
Hyun-ju walked to the other door and looked at the peephole again. He saw that Geum-ja was the one that had the key and asked for it. Miss Geum-ja confused gave it to him. "What is it?" She asked after seeing his smile.
"Each door has a keyhole in different shapes. I think there's three, circle, triangle, and square. We each have those shapes." He lifted his key. "Mine is a circle, y/n and Jun-hee are triangles, and Miss Geum-ja has a square." He said with a smile. "We make an amazing team, don't we?"
"Absolutely," Miss Geum-ja said. I knew us four made a great team since we went to the bathroom together. Right?" She nudged you and junhee's arms making you both nod. "That's right."
"In that case, you should hold on to our keys, Hyun-ju." You said handing him your key which he gave you back. Jun-hee and Geum-ja both nodded.
"Would that be okay?" Hyun-ju asked, "we can move more faster if you do that." You said, placing the keys in his hand.
He nodded and unlocked the door, you turned around hearing a woman's screaming in the distance. "They are close, we need to go farther away." You warned, holding Jun-hee's arm. "Let's go."
"You can barely walk yourself," Jun-hee stated the very obvious. "Yeah, same goes to you." You replied. Suddenly you stopped sensing something, footsteps.
All three of them looked at you confused. "What's wrong, y/n? Does your wound hurt?" Miss Geum-ja asked, concerned. "No, turn around." You muttered staring ahead. "What?" They all asked. Before you could respond, a red team stood in front of the hallway. And he screamed and started running towards all of them.
Hyun-ju pulled you away from Jun-hee, taking your spot and pushed you forward. "Focus on yourself." And then they all started running.
You turned a side and saw a staircase and began climbing it, ignoring the pain in your wound. Jun-hee suddenly tripped, and fell down, they quickly followed after her, and you and Miss Geum-ja checked to see if she was okay, whilst Hyun-ju stood in front to stop the tagger.
"Jun-hee," you helped her get up. You heard the tagger say something about handing one off them, Hyun-ju turned around, and Jun-hee and Geum-ja looked at him as if waiting for him to actually just dump them here and run, he turned back around and placed the keys inside his jacket, and got into a fighting stance.
The guy scoffed, and swung the knife at Hyun-ju which he narrowly avoided, and they started fighting, Hyun-ju grabbed his arm and twisted trying to get the guy to drop the knife. When the failed he dropped him to the ground, and grabbed the knife of him. And stabbed him.
You gently pulled Jun-hee to sit on the staircase, and knelt down to check on her leg, trying to ignore the feeling of seeing Hyun-ju killing someone to save the three of you.
Jun-hee winced after you touched her leg making you pull your hand back. "Can you walk?" You asked, which she nodded.
Hyun-ju stood behind you after making sure the guy was dead. "Let's go, anyone that heard that will come this way." You stood up, and were about to help Jun-hee up as well but Hyun-ju held your arm. "Focus on yourself, y
." He gestured to your wound, which blood soaked through your shirt. He pulled his hand back and nodded at Geum-ja to help him, and they both placed their hands around Jun-hee's shoulder and pulled her up, helping her up the stairs.
You were about to climb up as well, you turned around remembering something, and walked to the body. You knelt down and placed both your hand on the knife you were about to pull it out, but heard footsteps.
You gulped, and you quickly pulled the knife from the man's body and stood up, you backed away ready to run, but stopped after seeing Gi-hun instead.
He too stopped after seeing you. "Y/n...what are you doing by yourself?" He asked walking towards you. you let out a sigh of relief. "I feel like my heart is gonna stop, I thought you the tagger."
"I am though," he pointed at his red vest. "Ah, you are...well I meant a bad one,"
"A bad one?" He asked confused. You nodded. "Yeah, you wouldn't kill me."
"You seem sure."
"I am sure."
"Why are you Alone again?"
"Shit, I forgot,"
"Forgot what?"
"The others."
"What 'others'?"
"My teammate- why do you keep asking questions?"
"You keep answering them."
"That's because... Anyway I have to go, good luck. I hope you get your kill." You bowed down, as I sign on respect and ran up the stairs. Gi-hun stood there a bit confused before smiling and walking off.
You spotted the others and matched their pace, as if you were never gone, and thank god they didn't even notice.
