S3 part 2

You stayed the whole night talking with Gi-hun since you both couldn't sleep, you, because your wound wouldn't let you. And Gi-hun was not at all comfortable.

You talked about all sort of things, he told you how he won the first time he was here, and the nice people he met. You were glad you could at least comfort him even if it was just for night.

And before you both knew it, it was already the next day. The lights turned on, making you close your eyes, and curse at how bright the light's are.

Everyone woke up as the song started playing again, and the speaker started speaking. "The fourth game will begin momentarily. Please follow the instruction from our staffs.

A guard walked towards Gi-hun and unlocked his handcuff. You placed a hand over your wound and stood, stretching but wincing from the pain again.

"It doesn't look fine to me." Spoke Gi-hun, eyeing your wound which blood already started soaking your shirt.

You looked back down at the wound. "I'll be fine, don't worry about it." You felt someone grab your hand and pull you to them. You turned around and saw Hyun-ju. "I thought I told you to rest." He pulled you closer until your body's were pressed against one another.

You stayed silent for awhile, your mind trying to figure out an answer, and trying not to stutter at how close both of you were. "I did rest, just not by sleeping."

You pulled away from his grip after some people eyed you both. You turned your head and saw Gi-hun already walking away. "Ah, he left..." You muttered.

"Who? Mr Seong?"

You nodded. "Let's go." You began walking slowly, your hand on your wound, as if doing that can stop the pain.

Hyun-ju caught up to you and placed his arm around your waist. "Lean into me," he said softly. "I'll ask Miss Geum-ja to check on it later."

"How does she know about this?" You asked, letting him lead you up the stair's. 

Before he could answer, the line stopped moving making you both confused. And then it came into view. Dead body's came into view hanging from the ceiling.

"What your witnessing right now is the fate of those who refused the Democratic process of voting, and instead attempted to stop the game using violent means." The speaker stated. "We will not tolerate any irrational behavior which attempts to destroy the fair rules of the game,

You spotted Jun-bae hanging amongst the few people there, you looked for Gi-hun to see if he was doing okay, only to spot him on the upper stairs glaring the freaks out of Dae-ho. If looks could kill Dae-ho would be dead by now.

And then everyone continued walking, same goes to you and Hyun-ju. Everyone soon reached the huge gate. " welcome to your fourth game. This game will be played in two teams."

Hyun-ju pulled his hand away from you waist after making sure you were okay to stand. You looked around the place. It wasn't much compared to the other games. In the middle stood a gum ball machine, but instead of gums, it had blue and red balls.

"Before we start the game, you will be divided into  teams." The speaker spoke again. "Please take turns drawing a ball from the gum ball machine in front you."

Everyone soon started drawing their balls, and the guard pointing right for the blue team and left for the red.

Soon it was Hyun-ju's turn, his back was turned towards you so you couldn't see what ball he got. He turned around showing you that he got a blue ball with a smile.

You smiled back at him and nodded, hoping you would get the same team as him. You spotted Jun-hee clutching a red ball, and looked up at player 333 who had a blue one. You could have sworn those two had a things for each other.

Soon it was your turn, and you draw your ball, waiting until a blue one dropped, you smiled and walked to stand next to Hyun-ju, who patted your hair and said. "I'm glad we're in the same team."

At last it was Gi-hun's turned, and the only ball that was left on the machine was red, meaning he would be team red, you were slightly disappointed since you wanted him to be in the blue, just in case.

Gi-hun again glared at Dae-ho which the poor guy completely avoided.

"The game you will be playing is hide and seek." The guard who was standing on the middle said.

"Hide and seek?" Some players asked confused.

"Yes, hide and seek." The guard replied, a few guards came in and began handing out a small square box. You opened the box and saw a key inside. You looked at Hyun-ju confused, and he too was just as confused as you.

"The blue team must either find the exit and escape within 30 minutes or stay hidden from the red team until the time is up."

"What about the taggers?" A player from the red team asked. "Just like we used to play as kids, all we need to do is find the one that are hiding?"

"The red team, must find a blue team, and kill then within 30 minutes." Gasps erupted from the guard's words. "Kill them?" A woman asked. "Yes, the red team must find a blue team and kill them."

"This people are psychos." You muttered.
