"Those people are going to kill us?" A player for the blue team, spoke voice shaky. "That is correct." The guard responded.

You held up the key. "What's this?" The guard turned his gaze to you through his mask. "You've been given keys to doors in the arena. You can use that key to go through locked doors, however once the door is unlocked it cannot be relocked."

"Seems simple enough, right?" Hyun-ju asked you. "To simple to be true." You replied, eyeing the key.

"So they can hide somewhere and use their keys to escape? They have it so much easier!" A red player complained. The other red team agreed with him. "On top of that, we have to kill those people with our bare hands. That's right, this isn't fair! How do u expect us to kill someone with our bare hands?"

The guard who was silently listening to all the complains, spoke. "We understand your concerns. That's why we have prepared something for the red team as well." Two of the guards went ahead passing the same square box they gave the blue team, expect they were red.
"Please open the box and check."

The red teams opened their boxes, and your heart sank. A guy from the red team waved the knife around, making sure everyone in the blue team saw it.

"The red team can use those knifes to attack the blue team. However, members of the red team are not allowed to attack each other." The guard explained.

You didn't even bother listening to the blue teams complaints. Your hand moved to cover your wound. "How am I supposed to run around with this? I can barely walk." You muttered to yourself.

"Before we start the game, we will give you one last chance to change your fate." With those words from the guard, you looked up from your wound focusing on what he was going to say.

"Is any of you are not happy with your roles, you may switch roles with the opposing team before the game starts."

"What? We can switch roles?"

"That is correct. You can swap your item and vests upon mutual agreement. But once the game starts, removing or trading your very will be strictly prohibited. Please make your choices carefully."

Everyone started wondering around, with the blue team begging the red to swap. You limped to a sit and sat down barely able to even stand. Hyun-ju noticed and followed after you.

He knelt down in front of you, and asked consent to take a look which you nodded. He lifted up your shirt, and pulled the cloth over off, exposing your wound to the air. You winced as he trailed a finger over it. "Don't swap teams." He suddenly spoke, removing his jumper and tore half of it to wrap around your wound. "Just... Stay with me, I'll carry you if I have too." His gaze met yours, and he leaned in to wipe a small blood that was on your cheek, you didn't even remember where you got it from.

"I'll protect you." He pulled your shirt down, after he wrapped your wound. You felt incredibly touched, you never had someone protect you before. It was just you and your brother ever since you could remember.

You tried holding in the tears, but at your eyes got more glassy, you finally let it out, you cried softly, and he pulled you into his arms, hugging you tightly. "Everything will be fine." He whispered soothingly into your ear.

Soon your sobs subsided, and you both stayed like that for awhile until the time passed, and it was time to get going. He helped you stand up and wiped your tears with he sleeve. "I prefer to see you smile more," he lightly pinched your cheeks, making you giggle. "There we go."

He held out his hand for you to take, which you gladly did. You both walked up the stair's and into the arena. The guard opened the door, and it was not what you expected at all. There were a blue ceiling which were decorated with yellow stairs, and the ceiling was So low, you could touch it of you lifted your arm.

The guards closed the door, scaring everyone. "The taggers will enter in two minutes." The speaker spoke.

"Everyone! Look." Player 100 waved his arm around, trying to get everyone's attention. "Instead of hiding, let's split up and look for the exit instead. Whoever finds the exit will shout and let everyone know!"

"Finally someone using his none existing brain." You said, making Hyun-ju chuckle.

Everyone went their own way, you were going to walk past Jun-hee but saw her struggling. You stopped Hyun-ju and pulled him towards her. "Jun-hee, are you okay?"

She turned her head to face you, and nodded even though you knew she was lying. Miss Geum-ja who wasn't to far heard everything and went to check on her.

"Come with us." Hyun-ju said, and both Geum-ja and Jun-hee both nodded. And they all went looking for the exit.
