"Hey!" yells Delphine enthusiastically, startling me from my deep thoughts. She barged through our apartment door, the keys still jingling loudly in the palms of her hands and bags and bags of what I assume are new makeup products in her hands as well.

" Hey, " I reply with a half smile as I pick some of the bags from her hands, following her to put them in her bedroom.

The walls of her room, a pastel pink. Anime, bands and cartoon posters and prints pasted up neatly on her walls, noticing a few new ones there. Her sparkling fairy lights strewn out onto her white princess bed header and her makeup table an utter mess. Her bookshelf on the other hand, very neatly sorted out, unlike the last time I had seen it. Her cute little figurines standing tall next to and in front of her wide collection of books. I notice a bunch of new decorations in her room, such as her new No Game No Life prints, Panic At The Disco and Paramore posters, Sailor Moon figurines and her rose gold copper lights that were shaped like little flowers.

I want to ask her about them but then decide not to.

" So what's all this " I ask instead as I cautiously put down the heavy paper bags onto her bedroom floor .

" Well, a company has sent some cool new beauty products for me to try and review. They're hoping for a good sponsorship deal with me. " she explains with her sweet smile that can practically make anybodies day.

Something that honestly makes me love her even more is the fact that she is the most optimistic and and cheerful person I have ever met. She seems to always have her pretty little smile on her face and I honestly cannot even imagine how lucky I actually am to have her as my best friend.

" Sier," commented Delphine from the corner of her room, looking for something I guess. Sier is my little nick name that my friends and family call me by.

" mind helping me get my lights from the living room? " she continues.

I nod sweetly as I briskly walk out to our living room in search for Delphine's lights. I look around quickly trying to find where she had placed her lights and soon enough, I found them tucked in the corner next to our bookshelf. I immediately grab them, holding each one of them in each hand of mine carefully. Yes, carefully because these things are expensive and, not to mention, heavy and bulky. I brought them back to Delphine's bedroom as I gently place them on the ground, seeing that by the time I was gone, she had already set up her large Cannon camera on its tall black tripod stand and had it placed in front of her bed. She also had a bunch of beauty products placed neatly at the side of her bed. Either I took forever to find her lights or she is really fast. Probably both.

" You filming a video? " I ask, despite the fact it was pretty obvious that she was.

" Yep! Want to be in it? " she jokes playfully. I roll my eyes shaking my head with a little stupid grin I always do. " You know me, of course not! " I reply still shaking my head and smiling idiotically. Here's a fact about me, I am really camera shy. I have been best friends with Delphine even before she made her YouTube channel and we are pretty much with one another all the time but I have only ever been in one of her main channel videos, where we did the best friend tag two years ago as she forced me to be in it, and small snippets of her daily life vlogs on her second channel. I really hate being in videos because I am way too shy and insecure. I'm fine with photos or selfies but when it came to videos, I had a strong disliking to being in them. Maybe because a video is more personal and "3 dimensional" than an instagram selfie where it has been filtered nicely and we took about twenty of them to find the perfect one with the perfect angle and that has a shadow that covers up our ugly. While in a video, it was a lot more different...
