Saige's POV

Wes and I haven't talked about getting back together or anything, but we're on sort of a friend basis. My parents aren't exactly happy about it, but he's going to be in my life since he's the father of my baby.

Shawn is finally free today, so I'm hanging out with him. He's been with his family most of the time we've been here. Christmas Eve is tomorrow, and usually Wesley and my's families get together and have a dinner and everything, but I'm not sure if we're doing it this year now.

I was just finishing up my makeup when Mariana called me down the stairs. Shawn must be here. I hurried down the stairs as fast as a pregnant woman could. I saw Shawn's smile light up as I came into the living room. The thing I like most about Shawn is that even though I'm pregnant, he still treats me the exact same. He doesn't look at me differently or anything.

"You ready to go?"

"Hm, depends, where are we going?"

"You'll see," he chuckled. I don't know if it's with guys from Sequim or what, but they just love surprises. I followed him out the door nonetheless. He opened his truck door for me and helped me up in it. He pushed my bottom up while I pulled myself with the handle.

"Thanks," I chuckled. He smiled shyly and nodded his head. He started driving, and I had no idea where to. He ended up at the end of a bridge. He stopped the truck and shut it off.

"Come on," he smiled. He opened my door and helped me out. We walked across the bridge, taking in the view. I stopped and took a deep breath. The air was so refreshing by the water. I could see my breath as I let it out into the crisp, cool air.

"It's so beautiful," I sighed.

"Not as beautiful as you," Shawn whispered in my ear as he stood behind me. Wesley would say something cliche like that all the time. He wrapped his muscular arms around my large waist. His hands rested on my belly as his chin rested on my shoulder. I turned my head and smiled at him.

"You're so cheesy," I giggled, "but I love it." He turned his head to face mine, our lips only inches apart. He brushed his nose against my own, making us both smile. He moved his face yet even closer to mine, making our lips graze. He soon forced his lips to mine, and his hands moved from my belly to my cheeks.

As I felt his lips against mine, I realized it was all wrong. It wasn't meant to be like this.

"Stop, Shawn," I mumbled.

"I'm sorry, that wasn't supposed to happen, was it?"

"No, well I mean, I really like you, Shawn, but I just have so many things on my mind right now with Wesley back and everything, I just-"

"You still love him," he said. I looked up at him, my eyes looking sorry. As much as I didn't want to admit it, I'm still deeply in love with Wesley.

"It's okay, Saige. I knew you did from the start. You just needed to realize it for yourself," he smiled a little. I gave him a hug. I now realized that it's time to forgive Wesley.
