Saige's POV

It's getting late, so Mari and I are going to meet Quentin and Chelsea in town now. She drove, since I couldn't exactly drive comfortably with a basketball in my belly. We are meeting them at a café for dinner.

I walked in, looking around the tables for them. I finally spotted Chelsea when I saw her waving. There were two other heads at the table, though. They didn't turn to face us, but I could tell they were guys. I can't believe I didn't see it coming.

When I walked up to the table, I saw that it was Wesley and Keaton. I quickly turned around, not wanting Wesley to figure out I'm pregnant this way.

"Um, we were just leaving," Wesley mumbled in complete shock. At that moment, I knew he'd already seen, and it was too late. He quickly followed Keaton outside. I saw them talking, so I figured it's better late than never.

"I'll be right back, guys. I have to go talk to them," I said. Mari gave me an assuring look and let me go. I walked outside to catch up with the boys.

"Wesley, wait," I called after them. He stopped dead in his tracks and looked at Keaton. They both slowly turned around and stared at me.

"I know you have questions for me, so you might as well come closer and sit down," I sighed, sitting on the bench right outside the café. Keaton let Wesley go by himself as he went back into the café. It was silent for awhile, until he finally spoke up.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was scared. I was going to tell you, but you left," I whispered, looking him in the eyes. He looked down with his head between his legs.

"I'm sorry, Saige. I never got to explain. It doesn't even matter now, but Eli threatened me to break up with you. He said he'd hurt me even worse than last time, and I don't know why I believed him. It's still not an excuse that I haven't talked to you for five months."

"You should've told me instead of leaving me there broken-hearted! How was I supposed to know? You just made me pregnant, broke my heart, and left! That made me feel like complete shit. Like you only wanted me for sex."

"Saige, if I had known you were pregnant, I wouldn't have left! I'm not saying this is all your fault, but you could've said something! I don't give a fuck if I had tour. If I knew you were pregnant, I would have been with you."

"It doesn't even matter anymore. I'm pregnant, and now you know the truth. What does that change?"

"It changes everything, Saige! I want to support you, our child. I'm not going to be one of those dads that isn't apart of their child's life," he sincerely said.

"I don't want him to grow up without a dad either," I sighed. He looked at me apologetically.

"It's a boy?" I nodded, smiling a little. He smiled too, glancing down at my stomach. Oh how I missed the warmth of his smile. The way his eyes lit up with his teeth was so cute.

I wanted to give him another chance so bad, but that's just not how it works. He broke my heart, knowing how I felt about love, and left me.
