Here she lies bitterly six feet under.
May her troubles wash away in the rain and thunder.
May her hope prey on her next life like a hunter.
May the demons she lost to cast away back to hell.
May she surround her next self in a stronger shell.
May the soul she embodied transition well.
May the mistakes she made come with great warning.
May the weather be her only experience of storming.
May she find the comfort she so desperately desired.
May she have the mental support she needed before she expired.
May she become accustomed to a life before the hurt transpired.
May she always choose herself.
May she understand she's not responsible for generational wealth.
May she hold close the ones who always helped.
May she use this peace to reimburse every night she never slept.
May she reflect on everything with pride.
May she reflect on the reason she died inside.
May she die with enormous grace.
May she lay there with finally a smile on her face.
May she realize how easy it is to lose yourself to this place.
May her peace shine through her grave.
May she understand she was the only person she had to save.
May she witness the greatness we so helplessly crave.
May she come to terms with love being her killer.
May she rest without something so beautiful being her thriller.
May her spirit find a way to forgive her.
May she acknowledge her own snake slithers.
May she grow into a rose with thorns.
May she forgive the different lives she's lived since being born.
May happiness no longer feel so foreign.
Ashes to Ashes
Lashes after lashes
