Sometimes we get caught up over the smallest things
Distracted by the loss of things we think we need
Struggling with the trials and errors it takes to succeed
Tired of following your faith, yearning to take the lead
When you could focus on how patience is so critical
Or how your tribulations could be worse and even typical
A chance for love will always be there
Everyday life won't seem to be fair
Sit on your problems, don't be the chair
Take time to learn new methods and skills
Stay busy and don't wear how you feel
Pain comes, notice the signs and take time until it feels real
The goal is never to need moments to heal
Make a living but make time for the people you love
Life is tough on everyone, you never know who need hugs
Practice sobriety, don't confuse living with drinks and drugs
Travel frequently and see the beautiful world
Have a piece of nature with an ice cream swirl
Determine to keep your self esteem high
Keep in mind silence is better than a lie
Time is so crucial, we all have a day to die
Don't say anything is impossible without a try
Allow others vibrant lives to be motivation
You could be the same with a little dedication
Hurt people, Hurt people
Don't be deceptive and expect to be treated equal
If you don't enjoy trauma, don't give no one the sequel
Times are so very wicked and different
Witnessing oppressors change our existence
Imagine our power with each others assistance
So continue to do your best part
No rush, long as you make it past start
Don't let anyone change your heart
Some days end with tears and a pout
Good or bad, some days you'll want to shout
Some days you'll have what you need, others you'll go without
