Disclaimer: I do not own Cult of the Lamb. I am simply a fan of the game. I was inspired by Jbrine061. Please check out her story. She is amazing. Now onto the story.

Rose walked out of her room after changing into a different dress. For the next year, she would continue to wear black until her mourning period ended. Kallamar was with Narinder in his office, noticing that his brother was trying not to fall asleep... He had told him to rest in bed since it took energy to heal, but it seemed that Narinder was more stubborn than he always thought...

"Narinder, I know you have a lot of work to do but you're still injured even if you're healing..." Kallamar was simply worried about his brother.

"I have company and work... I can't just stop..." Narinder protested.

"I am sure Lady Rose will understand... and what about your High Priest?" Kallamar suggested. He couldn't say more before someone knocked on the door.

"He just had a lamb. I gave him a week to bond with the new lamb," Narinder told him. "Come in."

The door opened and Rose walked in with the damaged dress folded in her arms. "I hope I'm not interrupting."

"Not at all." Narinder shook his head.

"Why, I must say that your new dress makes you look even more radiant than before!" Kallamar complimented.

Narinder nodded slightly before getting back to work. Kallamar walked over to Rose, taking her dress. "I'll have this fixed up in no time."

"Thanks..." Rose looked at Narinder, who said nothing...

"Do not mind him, he's a workaholic," Kallamar sighed

"At least my work gets done," Narinder retorted. Kallamar only shook his head.

Rose had an idea and walked to him, stopping in front of his desk. "Narinder... I have experience with running a large group and I know how much work it is, but after what happened today... it might be best you rest for an hour at the very least. At this rate, you'll fall asleep at your desk..." She spoke gently to him.

Narinder flicked his tail. He looked up at her, and his shoulder relaxed at her soft gaze...

"I am only concerned for your well-being. You are a god, yes, but you are still a person. Everyone gets tired after a long day or an eventful few hours, no matter who or what they are. Think about it this way, once you're rested, you'll be able to work without worry." Rose continued.

Narinder looked at her for a long moment. "Very well... you make a good point..."

"So you'll go to bed?" Kallamar asked.
