Disclaimer: I do not own Cult of the Lamb. I am simply a fan of the game. I was inspired by Jbrine061. Please check out her story. She is amazing. Now onto the story.

The miracle herbs were given to the other Cults. Those with sheep followers used it quickly to save their flock. When everyone is better, the little lambs would return home. Everyone wanted to make sure that all was well before they came back. As for the heretic that caused everything, their body was tossed into the pit. Narinder searched once more and found the rest of their supplies, properly destroying them afterwards. Narinder did remember some details from when he slayed that one god, not as much as Kallamar did, but he knew who they were talking about. Narinder could care less about what that heretic was talking about. Right now, he could finally rest for a few moments with Rose... When they had ensured that everyone was okay, he and Rose went to his chambers. Once the doors were closed, Narinder scooped up Rose and spun her around, laughing in delight! Rose was caught off guard and couldn't help but laugh along.

"Narinder!!" Rose held onto him.

"You did it, mi hermosa pajarita! You did it!" Narinder hugged her tightly.

"I can't take all the credit, mi amor! Thank Callisto and Brightstar!" Rose told him. She explained to him all the details while they were busy.

"And I will!" Narinder would give credit where credit is due.

"After maybe a nap? We checked to make sure that everyone would be okay. Your disciple is taking care of things while High Priest Thorin recovers, unless someone dies, then you should be alright for the time being... unless there's a sermon to write?" Rose had possibly listed everything there might need to be done or what had been taken care of.

"You make a good point... As for a sermon... one needs to be written to aid with the dwindling faith," Narinder said. "A Holy day has been enacted to allow all to mourn... There is still time to write one."

Rose could see that he was very tired... and it was setting in. "Narinder, I know you're very busy, but now... now that everyone will be okay, and it is a Holy day... I think you can properly rest for a little while."

"You always want me to rest..." Narinder brushed his paw through her hair.

"You always work so hard, you do all you can for your flock. You do your best everyday but never think about yourself... I admire your hard work and dedication, but I hate seeing you so tired," Rose laid her head on his shoulder.

"Oh, Rose... You're too sweet, my fire flower," Narinder kissed her head. "You underestimate me, but I can see that you're worried. As you have said, all is stable at the moment. The Red Crown will tell me if someone passes away or if something else happens. And... I must still reward you," he walked to the bed and laid Rose on it before laying next to her. Cuddle session time!

"If something happens, I won't stop you from checking it. I promise, dear," Rose nuzzles him. "Just nap for an hour, even half an hour is fine."

"Yes, dear," Narinder cuddled Rose and she cuddled back.

The two were left alone for the evening. As Rose had mentioned, the top disciple was taking care of things while the High Priest rested. Narinder made sure the top followers were quite competent to lead in case he should be unavailable. That went for the High Priest too. Rose was glad that the Cult had good followers, small in size or not. It reminded her of her Clan again. Her brother always made sure that people knew what they were doing or learned to do things before they got straight to work. If they didn't understand something, then they could always ask for guidance. Narinder was currently the big spoon and Rose was the little spoon. He held and cuddled her close to him. In the time she couldn't visit, he missed Rose so much... Now, she was right there in his arms. Rose cuddled him, then hummed while petting his ears to help him sleep. Once Narinder dozed off, Rose removed his veil so he would be more comfortable. Narinder didn't feel it, being much more tired than he realized. It was good to take advantage of the peace and quiet. Especially now that Narinder was regaining his strength.
