Rose had a different name before she gained her human form. That name was left behind after she obtained her new appearance. The man who saved her from a trap captured her heart and she changed for him. That man cared not for her appearance for he loved her for who she was. Now, that man has passed away and Rose needed to move on. Of course z moving on wasn't easy, not in the slightest. If she hadn't met Narinder, she probably never would have done so. Now, Rose laid with her new husband in bed. Their wedding was yesterday and they were enjoying the peace and quiet. Narinder held his wife close to him as they slept under the covers. They snuggled close together, neither wanting to let go. The Bishop of Death ordered that they were not to be disturbed unless there was an emergency. It was a Holy Day anyway so there shouldn't be anything too big happening. The Cult might be small, but Narinder had competent followers who knew what not to do. At least most of them.

The only time when Narinder would get up was if someone died. As Bishop of Death, he would guide the souls to the afterlife to be judged. The souls would be sent to Paradise or Purgatory depending on what they did in life and if they repented for their sins. It has been that way for as long as anyone could remember. Narinder had been doing it since he was a young Crown bearer. It all started when he could see the dead spirits wandering with no idea where to go. It became his duty to take them when it was time and to guide the ones that lose their way. That duty would change soon the second he would ressurect the first soul whoever it may be... At least Narinder had Rose to help keep him in check. That was what Shamura thought anyway... Narinder thought that Shamura was too cautious and should lighten up a little. He wanted to use his future power to help his Cult and those that were taken too soon! Rose understood, she could already do it and has done it before! And perhaps in the near future... Rose would create a new life for them both...

A demigod was almost unheard of in the Old Faith. Not even the old gods were said to have offspring. If they did, it was unknown what happened to them. If they came across Shamura during their conquests of these lands, they would not see the light of day. But what would happen if Narinder and Rose were to have a child? Not only would they be a demigod, but they would be Narinder's first child and heir. Rose had already given birth to five children, but Narinder feared for her safety if she were to become pregnant. He was lucky that she was a Phoenix, otherwise, she'd probably die right after giving birth to their child... Narinder feared his power might kill his wife... but she can come back. Rose doesn't have a choice but to come back, as she has stated before. Narinder thought about the vision he had... The one of him and Rose welcoming a new bundle of joy into their lives. He didn't know when they would arrive, but he loved them already. Narinder's mind then wandered into what his siblings might think...

Leshy and Kallamar might be excited to be uncles. Leshy simply adored Rose's young grandchildren and Kallamar would have a whole wardrobe of baby clothes ready... Heket and Shamura were a bit more serious when it came to the pantheon... Heket was not cruel towards children. In her mind, the children were the future of a Cult. They were the followers of tomorrow who would devote their lives to their gods... and needed to be fed first. Shamura on the other hand... might fear what sort of child they might have. One of divine and Phoenix blood running through their veins... a powerful offspring indeed... Narinder felt himself making a mountain out of a mole hill... Rose wasn't even pregnant yet and there he was, making himself nervous. It was time to focus on the here and now. Narinder fell back asleep holding Rose in his arms. She snuggled up to him and relaxed. Rose didn't want to get up, nor wake up. She just wanted to cuddle with her husband.
