Nadine (CRACK)

It was that day.

It has finally come.

Bret doesn't really know what to do. He feels so excited.

Finally this day.

They have been waiting for months now. And now it was here.

"Bret, please stop crushing my hand, you're not the one giving birth." Sam complained besides him.

"Sorry, I'm just so excited." Bret said. He had called his friends when he knew it was finally time.

He heard her cry. He wanted to touch her but the doctor had forbidden him to.

"Nadine..." He called her.

"It's here." The doctor suddenly said.

"It's here? It's here??" Bret exclaimed.

"Yes..." The doctor said.

"Okay now push." The doctor said to Nadine.

Nadine obeyed.

"A bit more." The doctor urged.

Nadine just followed her words.

It seems Nadine was really having a hard time. Bret wished she wasn't in too much pain.

"I can see the head!" The doctor suddenly said.

"Ow!" Sam exclaimed, Bret had really crushed his hand this time.

And a while later, the doctor faced them and smiled.

"Two females." she said.

"Two girls???" Bret exclaimed, very very happy.

"Nadine, you're a mom now! I'm so proud of you!!!" Bret said patting Nadine on the head.

James sighed.

"Bret, now that it's over, I just want to tell you. Can't you give your dog another name? It's too disturbing..."

Bret looked at him in amusement. "You're the one who named her. She wouldn't answer to any other name after that."

"I was drunk, okay." James said sheepishly.

"Still not my fault." Bret said with a laugh.

He went back to his dog. "Nadine! Two female puppies! And you're okay as well! Thank goodness!"
