Training was intense for the members of class 1-A, and 1-B was subjected to the same treatment. Izuku handed out his notebooks to everyone so they could incorporate his theories into their training. Monoma was, of course, offended by his entry. "There's so little here! I suppose it's because you think my quirk is so basic it doesn't deserve recognition from the champion of 1-A!" The insecure blonde was lucky Bakugou wasn't close enough to hear him call Izuku the champion of their class.
"Actually it's because your quirk is so inherently complex."
"...I beg your pardon?"

Izuku flips through a few pages. "If you bothered to read the notes instead of simply pointing out how sparse they are, you'd notice that the countermeasures I've put in place are vague at best. Copying quirks for a few minutes sounds basic on paper, but put into practice it has the potential to be overwhelming. Before you even arrive at a fight it's impossible to know who you've touched and what quirks you currently have available. Then there's the possibility of you eventually learning how to stack quirks in the future, which turns figuring you out into a whole new headache. They say no plan survives contact with the enemy. Whoever wants to fight you will struggle to come up with a plan to begin with."

Izuku goes to walk past Monoma, who was stunned into silence by the barrage of compliments but stops just next to him. "Also, the class rivalry thing is getting old. Neither class is inherently better than the other. Just look at Tetsutetsu and Kirishima."

Training continued long into the evening. By the time they were allowed to eat, everyone bar Izuku was exhausted beyond measure. They were told to make their own food, and they actually did pretty well. Although Iida looked like he was contemplating existence while staring at a potato one time. While eating, Izuku notices someone small moving between the trees.

"Yo." Kouta jumps up at the sound of the voice and turns to see Izuku with a bowl of curry. "Ease up kid, I'm just dropping off food. I'll only bust your balls again if you attack me."
Kouta scoffs. "I don't want any. And I'm not interested in hanging around a bunch of wannabe heroes either, so get lost! You're all disgusting and annoying!"

"Whatever man." Izuku shifts into his Raptor form, ready to take off when Kouta speaks.
"You're not gonna tell me I'm wrong?"
Izuku looks over his shoulder. "I'm not getting into a societal moral debate with some random kid with anger issues. You want someone to listen to you bitch and cry about your life? Try therapy, cause I'm not interested."

Days passed in camp on repeat. Wake up, train, eat and repeat. Izuku had Yaoyorozu make some inhalers so he could sneak the people taking remedial classes some of his "happy wake up juice" as Ashido so eloquently called it, alongside their breakfast. An action that earned the eternal gratitude of the remedial group and motivated them to somehow find the time to build some kind of shrine to him. It reminded him of his dads stories about cults worshipping him over the last hundred years, thinking he was some kind of deity.

Aizawa was willing to look the other way as long as he got some as well. It was odd seeing their homeroom teacher so active and... not dead looking.

On the third day of camp, they were actually given a rather normal activity. A test of courage where the classes would take turns trying to scare each other in the woods. The unfortunate exclusion of the remedial group meant that Izuku was the only person without a partner, although it didn't bother him. He actually volunteered to go first.

Wandering along the path, none of Class B's attempts at terror were actually met with terror. A head that bore resemblance to the girl from The Ring pops out of the ground on the path. "Sup Kodai."
"Hn."

Juzo Honenuki, a kid from 1-B with no lips and exposed teeth, pops out of a bush alongside Kendou. "What? Oh come on, that was a classic horror set up, how did we not even phase you?"
Izuku points at the spot where Kodai's head is. "Your quirk softens the ground, and since liquids have a different atomic structure to solids, it caused a slight divot in the ground that I could see."
Honenuki groans. "You know what, just go. You're way too stoic for this."
