It had been 2 weeks since that wonderful night they had shared together. At first it was awkward between the two. But eventually it faded into a nice memory and they were able to act as normally as they could around each other. Though Joong did make it a point to try and avoid Dunk as much as possible afterwards. Partly because of what he had done but also because when he was around Dunk he wanted to do it again. He still couldn't get past the guilt of taking his brother's Omega to bed or the guilt of wanting to repeat the act and so he removed the temptation from his sight to make it easier.

His first major task was getting in touch with First and Khao to see if they had gotten the information he had asked for. But when they said they were still digging and that they had some major stuff, like bigger than he could ever have imagined, he allowed them a longer time period to really dig as deep as they could go. They had promised him the news of the century that was sure to blow his mind forever so they had better deliver or they might be out of a job permanently. With that part completed he really had nothing much to do but small tasks, some he even created just to have something to do. On the chance he did end up back at his home he made sure to keep to his quarters and avoid Dunk all together. Dunk didn't seem to mind it either. He knew that what had happened that night was nothing more than a whim brought on by his heat and the alcohol Joong had consumed. It meant nothing more than a passing thought. Still, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that he wouldn't get to feel that level of passion ever again. It really was quite incredible…magical even. Everytime he thought about it, small butterflies rose in his stomach and he had to quickly think of something else so he didn't get turned on again. All in all, things were peaceful at the estate.

The first signs that something wasn't right with Dunk came very subtly. He woke up one morning feeling sick to his stomach. The smells of everything around him were heightened to nauseating levels and he had to rush to the bathroom to empty out the nonexistent contents of his stomach. After that he felt a little better but he was a tad bit fatigued all day. He thought he must be coming down with a flu or something and tried to just push through it. It should pass on its own, he thought. He took some stomach medicine and trudged on. When it happened again the second day followed by a loss of appetite Dunk definitely knew he had gotten the flu and asked Lucie to take a couple days rest so he didn't infect the others. She granted it of course and he spent the day in bed trying to restore his body. But after the 4th day of being like this he knew something was definitely wrong here. Not even when he was ill as a child did it ever continue for this long. Maybe it was something else? Something more serious? He decided to go to the house doctor to see if they could help out.

“Well hello there Mr Dunk. I have heard a lot about you from Miss Lucie here. You're quite the hard worker and a charmer as well I dare say. Now what seems to be the issue that brought you to my door today?”

“Well sir… lately I have not been feeling myself. I am nauseous, tired, have a low appetite and am having trouble sleeping. At first I thought it might be a stomach bug or the flu. But it has persisted for almost 5 days now. I can't work well like this so I was hoping you could check me out and tell me what's wrong?” The doctor looked me over a bit and smiled happily.

“Of course my child. Let me just get some basic information and then we can do some blood work and see what's ailing you okay?” Dunk nodded and Lucie stepped out of the room to give him some privacy. The doctor handed Dunk a gown to change into and stepped away so he could change. Once done the basic questions began.

“Okay, the first question for the records is what is your classification?”

“Omega.”

“Okay and when was your last heat cycle, if any?” Dunk had to think for a moment.

“Uh… three weeks ago? I think. It was the first time it had happened to me so I wasn't sure what was going on. But I am pretty sure it was then.” The doctor wrote down some notes and continued.
