The chaotic laughter and music that once filled Freddy Fazbear's Pizza had been replaced by an eerie stillness. The overhead lights cast a dim, flickering glow, their hum punctuating the muted conversations of worried parents and the clipped voices of police officers.

Brook Baker stood near the main stage, her arms tightly crossed over her chest as she stared at the officers combing the pizzeria. Her face was pale, her lips pressed into a tight line to suppress the rising panic. Beside her, John Baker had a protective hand on Kai's shoulder, though his jaw was clenched, his expression unreadable.

"She couldn't have just vanished," Brook said, her voice barely audible. "Y/n wouldn't leave Kai. She wouldn't."

"Maybe she stepped outside, or..." John's words faltered. The explanation sounded as hollow to him as it did to her.

"She wouldn't." Brook's voice cracked this time, and she covered her mouth with her hand.

Kai clung to her side, his small hand wrapped around her wrist. His wide, tear-filled eyes darted around the room, searching for his sister. "She was here. She was here for my birthday," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Brook knelt down and cupped Kai's face, her own tears threatening to spill over. "I know, sweetie. We'll find her. The police are looking. They'll find her."

As if summoned by her words, one of the officers approached them, his expression grim. "We've searched the main areas and the immediate perimeter. There's no sign of Y/n or the missing girl."

"The missing girl?" Brook repeated, the words foreign and terrible.

"Another child disappeared earlier today," the officer explained. "A red-haired girl, about six years old. Her father reported her missing before the party started."

Brook's knees threatened to give way. Two children missing in the same place, in the same day.

"That's impossible," John said, his voice rising. "Are you saying someone could have taken them right under everyone's noses? In broad daylight?"

"We're investigating every possibility," the officer said, though his tone lacked conviction.

As the officer walked away, Brook turned to John, her voice a frantic whisper. "How could this happen? Where is she? Where is my baby?"

Before John could answer, a calm, measured voice broke through the tension.

"Mr. and Mrs. Baker."

The man who approached them was tall and unassuming, dressed in the crisp uniform of an employee. His face carried a practiced air of sympathy, his tone smooth and reassuring.

"My name is William Afton," he said, extending a hand that John pointedly ignored. "I'm terribly sorry for what's happened. We've never had anything like this occur before, and I want you to know we're cooperating fully with the authorities. Your daughter's safety is our top priority."

Brook stared at him, her brows furrowed. "How could two children go missing in a place filled with parents, staff, and cameras? You expect us to believe that?"

Afton offered a thin smile, his hands folding neatly in front of him. "I understand your frustration. Truly, I do. But I assure you, the cameras are being reviewed as we speak. The officers have access to every part of the building. If there's anything to find, they'll find it."

His eyes shifted briefly, lingering on Kai, who was peeking out from behind Brook's skirt. Afton's smile widened slightly, and he crouched down, bringing himself to the boy's eye level.
