*Third Person's POV*

Soon it came time for Tobin and Alex's first date and both were super excited yet nervous. Tobin, not being the overly romantic type planned something not over the top, yet special. She knew how much Alex liked to just let loose, but also how competitive she was. So after taking her out to a nice, romantic dinner, Tobin takes Alex out to go mini golfing. Of course there was some small talk along with the two flirting with each other along with some trash talk. Whenever winning was involved, there was always trash talk, especially for Alex and Tobin.

Of course, Alex totally destroyed Tobin in mini golf but Tobin could care less. She was just happy seeing how excited and happy Alex was and she couldn't help but shrug the loss off.

"Since you lost, that means you can plan our next date," Alex says as the pair walk back to Alex's house. Tobin grins.

"Who said I was going to take you out on another date?" Tobin teases. Alex slightly frowns before catching on to the joke and begins to laugh, causing Tobin to laugh.

"All jokes aside, I had a good time tonight," Alex says timidly when they arrive at at her house. Tobin stands there with her hands stuffed into her pants pocket

"Me too. Maybe if you allow me, I would gladly take you on another date," Tobin says and then winks at Alex. Alex just smiles and blushes slightly. The two then share a goodbye hug before Alex sneaks in a kiss on Tobin cheek before hurrying inside, leaving Tobin smiling ear to ear.

Tobin's POV

It's been a few weeks or so since our date and there was still one thing on my mind. Ever since then we have gotten closer and I was so happy I finally had the guts to ask Alex out, but I still had to find a way to make things official. So today I decided to text Alex to meet up at our meeting place to play some soccer. Alex texts back quickly, gladly accepting my invitation. I quickly throw on some athletic wear and head out.

For about 20 minutes, I dribble and juggle around the field, brushing up on my foot work skills. That is until it starts pouring rain.

I take a break for awhile to think of any drills left that I could do when suddenly Alex appears, soaking wet from walking here. I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey sorry I'm late, one v one?" She ask as we begin to play. This game out of all our games had to be the most physical game. We were both slide tackling, doing whatever we could to get the ball.

An hour into the game the score was tied 3-3, Alex trying to push the ball up the sideline. I knew that all I had to do is knock Alex off the ball slightly so I did, successfully taking the ball away... and knocking Alex down. We both start laughing hysterically as I just so happen to roll on top of Alex.

"That was a foul Heath and you know it!" She exclaims, yet still giggling. I just smile as I look into her blue eyes. It was like looking into the ocean, just so beautiful. My eyes then pan down to her soft lips. That's when I realize how close we were.

"No I think that was all clean Morgan," I say with a little smirk on my face which got her smiling. Do it Tobin, I thought to myself. So slowly I lean in closer before our lips touch.

Alex's POV

Oh my God did she really... did we really just kiss? That kiss sent chills down my spine, it was so perfect and amazing... and too short. My mind blanks out until she pulls away, trying to see my reaction. Did I really want this? Was this really happening?

I push every thought to the back of my mind and kiss her again, this time it was longer. Our lips moved in harmony. I pull away, looking right into her honey brown eyes as she grins from ear to ear.

Moments later we laid there, side by side. The rain was finally going away and now we could see the beautiful California sky. Everything just felt right, my fingers intertwined with hers. We didn't care that we were soaking wet, muddy and sweaty.

" There was a reason why I invited you here today. I wanted to talk about us. I really like you Lex and I don't think that I have ever had such a connection with anyone else before. You're just an all around beautiful, magnificent person inside and out and I was wondering if you wanted to make it official, by having the honor of being my girlfriend?" She confesses. I was honestly speechless. I didn't know that she wanted this relationship to happen as much as I did. I smile and nod my head yes before leaning in and kiss her again.

"You know, I don't know why but it just feels so easy to talk to you.

"I feel the same way too," I say.

Tobin's POV

I take a deep breath. This was the perfect time to finally open to her.

"I have to tell you... don't really have a family or a place to call home ," I sniffle. She raises her eyebrow in confusion. " My parents disowned me for not being like my two perfect older sisters and being gay. So now I live with Hope and Ashlyn," I say, my voice was brittle as I try to fight back the tears. My eyes were downcast, I didn't want to see the reaction or pity from Alex.

"Wow...why didn't you tell me this before?" I just shrug.

"I don't know, you're like the only person other than Hope and Ash that I opened up to, plus I didn't want anyone to pity me. Hope you're not mad," I reply truthfully. Alex pulls me into an embrace and that's when all the tears escapes from my eyes.

"Why would I be mad Toby?" She says as I just sob into her chest. Now that I finally opened up about my broken past. I felt a sigh of relief.

I just shrug before she just caresses me in her arms.We then spent the rest of the night admiring the night sky while enjoying each other's company.
