On the spur of the moment of a call, Jin Hyung and I arrived downstairs.

Each member of our household gathered in the living room, finding their respective spots. Mom and Dad took their places on the loveseats, while Jimin Hyung and Taehyung sprawled on the large couch. The twins claimed the oversized chaise lounge beside the ottoman.

Yoongi Hyung was gradually missed.

"Kookie?" Mom called out, softly, adjusting her arm from Dad's shoulder, "Jin?"

While Jin Hyung went to settle onto another couch to the left of the accent chairs, which also arose invitingly vacant, I remained firm on my spot; my expression showered with utter remorse, rewashing upon my surface, once at the sight of Mom.

Mom appeared exhausted, and her condition rather marked by cognitive changes such as confusion or difficulty. The paleness of her skin; a departure from her usual charming demeanor, hinted at an inner sheen. She managed a faint smile in my direction, and though it didn't reach her eyes; she opened her arms wide, beckoning me to her.

I took small, hesitant steps toward her; every step had remorse glistening as if leaving its traces on the floor. My gaze dropped down, and my fingers entwined nervously.

As I reached over to the loveseats, stood a little far from Dad, and was quite unable to lift my gaze.

"Oh my gosh - sweetheart, you okay?" Mom quickly bent slightly, extending her arm to grab my wrist and pulling me forward.

Her worrisome stares weighed heavily on me as her fingers gently traced down my chin, coaxing it upward. Reluctantly, I met her eyes, establishing contact.

". . .Mama," I looked at her and slowly whispered, "I-I'm sorry. . ."

As Mom decided to get up, Dad held her hand, gently protesting against her action, since she only had depleted her body's medical examination.

"Oh, Korain. Can't you see the boy's state? He looks intensely upset," Mom stated, firmly, yet standing, otherwise, turning her attention to me, "Kook, honey, what are you sorry for?"

I heard a scoff from behind in response to Mum's question. Must be Taehyung. Additionally, I inhaled a breath, allowing my mind to exhibit the afore-happened lousy bummer.

"Y-You. . .s-seizure. . .t-that hap-pened 'cause of me. . .I-I'm sorry. . ." I mumbled, fidgeting with my fingers.

"Wait what!"

"Are you an idiot!? What the heck!?"

"Do you want me to get you into a relationship right against the floor!?"

The twins included Jimin Hyung, whom I expected to be mad, suddenly burst out shouting, whereas Dad simply had his mouth open agape.

"Kookie!" As if Mom took a second to absorb my utterance, she exclaimed, hearing me out, now, enveloping me in a hug, sprung by surprise, "My baby, please don' tell me, you've been blaming yourself during all these few hours. It was never your fault. Besides, if it wasn't for you, I would've been in more of a bad state,"
