"Sky, time to get up." Harry said as he shook his daughter who pouted and opened her eyes.
"Its a Saturday dad." Sky said rolling onto her stomach and Harry mentally counted down from three and Sky instantly shot up from the bed."Dada, comes home today."
Harry smiled as his daughter jumped into his arms squealing loudly. She hugged him tight trying not to cry but she couldn't hold it back anymore as she let the tears fall. Harry rubbed her back feeling the tears hit his shirt he sat her down on the bed and wiped away her tears. He stopped himself from crying as he brushed her curly brown hair out of her face and kissed her forehead. She smiled up at him knowing that her dad was going to be the most happiest seeing her dada. She couldn't wait at all as she got off the bed and pulled her father to the bathroom.
"Come on you have to get ready and I'll pick out everything and make everything don't worry about me." She said and Harry laughed with a nod.
He definitely knew that she got Niall's attitude and looks well not the hair but that's not the point. He couldn't believe that she was so mature and she was only eleven which made him pout because she was growing up so fast. He wished he could go back to the day he found out he was pregnant with her. He smiled at the thought as he got in the shower drying off his body and hair. He walked out the bathroom with a towel tightly around his waist as he walked to his bedroom. He looked at the clothes his daughter picked out and let out a chuckle before putting them on. He made sure his hair was fine before heading to the kitchen seeing his daughter covered in sweat.
She was about to open her mouth but the doorbell rang and Harry's heart stopped beating for a minute. He looked at his daughter who smiled before running off to her room to get ready as Harry went to answer the door. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes before opening them and opened the door. Harry smiled big seeing his husband standing at the door with a smile on his face as well before hugging Harry. Harry couldn't help but cry as he wrapped his arms around Niall's neck squeezing him tight in his arms. He pulled away with a laugh as he wiped away his tears noticing the solider behind Niall.
"Niall, I would like some privacy with your husband real quick." The solider said and Niall looked at Harry for a minute before he nodded and went to the living room.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked instantly his heart beating fast as he played with his fingers.
"Niall took a hard blow from a grenade and it damaged some of his brain cells. At some points he would be able to understand you fully and do everything on his own. Then there are times when he will need your help with things and have you say things slowly or repeat it. His sentences would sometimes not be complete or he may stutter a lot. Don't worry it won't last long he will be back to himself in no time you have a strong husband it was nice fighting with him. That's all I have to say I'll leave you now have a lovely day Mr.Horan." The solider said before nodding his head at Harry before turning around and leaving.
Harry closed the door slowly letting everything sink in then headed to the living room seeing Niall looking at a picture of Sky. He went over to Niall sitting down next to him and grabbed his hand making Niall sit the picture down and look over at his husband. Harry looked over his features not seeing a scratch on him which made him really happy. Harry was about to say something but their daughter came in the room with a blue dress on. She ran over to Niall and hugged him tightly making him laugh as he ran his fingers through her hair. He closed his eyes taking in her sweet scent before pulling away and kissing her forehead.
"I m-m-m-missed you s-so Sky." Niall stuttered out making her look at him confused.
"Dada, are you okay?" She asked knowing that her dada never stuttered in his life.
"Dada is fine he's just a little bit different from last time you saw him." Harry said and Sky looked back at him and nodded.
"I want you guys to spend time with each other then me and dada can hang out tomorrow." Sky said before running off with a giggle.
Harry smiled before looking over at Niall who looked lost for a few seconds before nodding. Harry couldn't help but pull Niall into a kiss missing his husband so much he hasn't had a kiss from him in two in a half years. He didn't mind that it took a few minutes for Niall to kiss him back and wrap his arms around his waist. Harry straddled Niall's waist the kiss heating up but after a few minutes Niall pulled away. Trust me he would have kept kissing Harry but he couldn't help but let his nostrils take over smelling the delicious food in the kitchen. He looked up at Harry and slowly reached his hand up to brush some of Harry's hair out of the way.
"Smell f-f-food." Niall said smiling up at Harry who let out a laugh and got off of Niall pulling him in the kitchen."I your c-c-c-cooking."
"Sky made it for us." Harry said and Niall looked at him with wide eyes before going to sit down at the table looking down at the well made food.
Harry sat down next to Niall then grabbed his hand as they both started to eat. Niall started to have trouble bringing his food to his mouth which Harry thought was really cute. He gentle pushed Niall's fork down so it was level with his mouth instead of his nose. Niall looked over at Harry with a grin mouthing a thank you before continuing to eat his daughter's meal. He was really glad to be home he missed the touch of his husband 's body and his personality that always made him happy. He was sure that he was never going to leave his family again no matter what he wanted to be around them until the day he dies.
After eating, Niall and Harry laid in bed cuddled up with each other just talking and sharing kisses from time to time. Harry made circles in Niall's chest hearing him tell another story when he was in the army. Niall ran his fingers through Harry's hair with his eyes closed as his other hand was behind his head. A smile coming up on his face when Harry would softly kiss his chest every few minutes. He didn't think that Harry was listening to him so he stopped telling the story making Harry look up at him confused. He sat up a bit so he could get a better look at his husband who opened his eyes to look at him.
"Why did you stop I was enjoying the story." Harry said rolling on top of Niall who shook his head with a laugh.
"I wanted to feel your lips against mine instead of my chest." Niall said and Harry smiled brightly before connecting lips with Niall.
"I missed being in your arms so much don't ever leave me or Sky again." Harry said and Niall gave him a nod before kissing him again.
Harry let out a mix of a laugh and squeal as Niall rolled them over so he was on top. Harry wrapped his arms around Niall's neck and pulled his face closer biting his bottom lip playfully. Niall looked into Harry's eyes that was filled with love and lust and he could clearly see that. He slowly ran his fingers across Harry's face stopping at his bottom lip. Harry could tell that he was processing everything he didn't care though he still loved Niall with all of his heart. It didn't take long for Niall to come back a small smile on his face as he pecked Harry's bottom lip.
"I love you." Harry and Niall said at the same time making both of them laugh sharing a loving kiss after because everything was going to be alright.

Wey hey another happy one shot that I thought of since nobody is sending in anything. Anyways on a different note I don't have any thing else to say except for I'm ready for the VMA and that I don't want to start school.
