The sun peeked between the clouds in the sky, its strong rays hitting my eyes and making me squint. Ryan holds onto my hand as secretly as he could while we both walk and take in the scenery of our surroundings. For this day-off, Ryan decided to take me out on a walk and just enjoy each other's presence in anywhere but our beds, and wearing clothes, preferably

. He rubs his thumb against my knuckles, his voice smooth as butter as he graced his lips with the softest curl.

"How you feeling?" He spoke sweetly.

I take a deep breath, letting the sense of contentment wash over me.

"Refreshed."

"Have you heard anything from them?" He implied that I wouldn't have told him right away if I had heard anything similar to a callback or anything from the casting director.

"As if you wouldn't already know if I had." I nudge him playfully "I feel like you're more nervous than me."

"I don't know about nervous, but excited to know if I'm the one going to visit you during shoots now, and not the other way around like it always was."

"You wanna come deliver me coffee on a golf cart?"

"I would be absolutely delighted."

A soft laugh escapes my lips with a breath as I shake my head. Ryan always seemed to have bigger visions of my future than I myself do.

As we walk by a diner than catches our eye, through a mutual stare we agree on going in and having a meal. We walk in and choose a table next to the window and make our order, leaping over the tangent of our diets so we could have some fun. Amidst our subject diverse conversations, we always found ways to sneak in a hearty chuckle or a muffled giggle, and, already used to such occasions, I catch a glance of the people outside, seeing two fans smiling and talking to each other while preparing their phone to take a picture of Ryan. I sigh and smile knowingly.

"Uh oh." I wait for him to notice.

As he turns his head, he huffs out a chuckle and shakes his head.

"They can literally just come in and ask for a picture instead of sneaking one."

"Eh, whatever."

Ryan lets his cheek pull the corner of his mouth into a sly lopsided grin.

"You want me all to yourself, don't you?"

I roll my eyes as he laughs, nudging the side of my foot with his. With another glance, I notice the girls probably already took their picture and walked away. Before I even get to turn my head back to him, I feel his finger trace my knuckles as discreetly as he could. I smile and fiddle with his fingertips.

But our minds suddenly ground themselves again when the waitress bursts our bubble and brought our plates of food, bearing a lovestruck smile on her red painted lips.

"Here you go Ryan..." She almost breathlessly announced, her eyes fixated on him.

"Thank you," He nodded taking the plate and setting it in front of him, focusing on the food, but not skipping any pleasantries.

She barely looks at me as she sets down my plate for me, running her tongue over her teeth and pressing her lips together to fix her lipstick. The only attention that Ryan gave her was a silent nod and a smile to dismiss her.

"Sorry, I..." She shook her head, embarrassed "I'm just such a big fan, can I take a picture with you?"

"Of course, no worries." He chuckled and scooched closer for the picture.
