Ryan is in the dressing room, getting ready for the meet and greet that is about to happen. I stand in front of his door, looking around, checking it everything is okay, tugging at the rim of my sleeves as a nervous tic.

When I felt a hand pat my back, I was surprised to see a person I wasn't expecting I'd turn to. I meet Emma's smiley face, her hand waving briefly.

"Hi!"

"Oh, hey!" I smile back, her cheery aura taking me out of the pit that is the middle of the turmoil inside me.

"Nice to see you again! I knew he'd bring you along."

I chuckle "Yeah, I kinda just follow him around and do my work standing."

She laughs and takes a strand of hair away from her face, then tilting her head slightly to the side as she looked into my eyes with her beautiful pair.

"Are you okay?"

Hearing that question from anyone besides Ryan, Sally and even Ethan really takes me by surprise, and the way her face showed how sincerely she asked me.

"...Yeah!" I nod eagerly, lifting my brows as to evoke enthusiasm "I'm great! Why do you ask?"

"No reason, I mean, you just looked kinda nervous, you know?" She must've noticed the sleeve tugging.

"Oh, right."

"You had your eyes everywhere, like no one gets past you."

"Ah, yes, my security camera eyes."

She giggles again, nodding.

"Yeah, well, I just wanted to check on you, see how you were doing."

"I've been good... I mean... stressful couple of days..."

"Yeah? Why?" She was quick to turn and answer, like she was waiting for me to mention something she wanted me to mention.

"Oh, you know... the press tour and all..."

"Oh, right, the press tour." She nodded, her body not as tense as before, her expression calmer, like the answer wasn't then one she wanted, but one she should've expected would be more likely.

"It's been absolutely crazy." I chuckle, letting out a breath.

"Yeah, it has!" She chuckles as well, then asks inquisitively, her voice lower "You haven't been, by any chance, stressed out for any other reason, have you?"

"What other reason?" I look at her in a dubious manner, although trying to hide it.

"Like... anything else going on?" She perks her shoulder up slightly.

I give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she's just checking on me as a whole, although her curious expression really implicates she might be onto something.
