Without Warning Part 2

Start from the beginning

"(YN)...what are you wearing..."

You anxiously laughed at his question while rubbing the back of your neck.

"Well, you see it's a bit of a long story..."

Fortunately, you were saved from explaining yourself as Naruto began shouting at Jiraya.

"Seriously?! You were overcome by a cheap trick like some girl winking at you pervy sage?! You shouldn't be trying to act all cool about it!"

"Don't call me that in front of people..." Jiraya sighed as Naruto spun around and pointed at Kisame and Itachi.

"And more importantly, what's up with these people pervy sage! They aren't normal!"

"I said, stop calling me pervy sage!" Jiraya yelled causing your uncle to sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose while Kisame started speaking.

"Well, you are Master Jiraya after all, one of the legendary Sannin. I didn't believe I'd be able to stop you so easily—even though you are a womanizer. Still, I didn't think you would release the genjutsu on that woman so quickly."

Kisame then turned his attention to your uncle who was standing beside you.

"And you...master Gyo, the renowned fire and wind sage...if we had known you would both be here, we would have approached our plan differently...

You blinked in shock at Kisame's words as you glanced at your uncle. You honestly thought your uncle was just an average everyday Jonin. You had no idea he was considered a sage.

Gyo nodded at his words.

"I am but I do not boast about it. I let my actions speak for themselves." Your uncle began as he glanced at Jiraya.

"What do you say, old friend? Let's crush these guys."

Jiraya smirked at this as he gently laid the woman on the ground beside the wall.

"It's the least we can do after the mess they've caused...trying to separate us from Naruto so they could take him..." Jiraya then glanced at you.

"And doing god knows what to your little prodigy there. Truly despicable..."

You made a face at Jiraya's words, the way he said that was just weird...Jiraya truly was an odd one...

Your uncle's eyes hardened at Jiraya's words as he began to crack his knuckles.

"Right...I've had enough talking." He glowered as he reached behind his back and pulled his two katanas out of their holsters.

As your uncle prepared to attack he stopped as Sasuke suddenly spoke up, as he slowly stood to his feet.

"Stay out of it...The one that is going to kill Itachi is me!"

"I have no interest in you right now." Itachi coldly replied causing Sasuke to hiss in anger as he began sprinting toward him.

"Don't mess with me!" Sasuke yelled as he tried to punch Itachi but Itachi easily deflected his blow and kicked Sasuke into the wall.

You cringed as Sasuke roughly collided with the wall and slid to the ground. Sasuke then slowly stumbled to his feet as you and Naruto moved to help him.

"Stay back! This has nothing to do with you two!" Sasuke shouted as he activated his sharingan and began sprinting towards Itachi.

Itachi easily blocked Sasuke's attack and punched him across the face with so much force that he went flying into the wall. You watched with bated breath as Itachi slowly made his way over to Sasuke. You wanted to help Sasuke but as soon as you moved to do so Kisame threatently raised his sword. He said something to you but his words fell on deaf ears. You were too focused on Itachi as he mercilessly beat Sasuke. He started by kneeing him in the stomach then progressed to punching him several times before holding him against the wall by his neck.

Your heart raced as you watched, you could feel a cold sweat washing over you as you began to feel nauseous. This was so hard to watch...the last straw was when Sasuke began screaming in pure agony and terror. You couldn't stand it anymore.

"Itachi! That's enough! You've beaten him!" You yelled, tears beginning to form in your eyes as Sasuke continued to scream in agony.

"Just stop, please!" You begged as you jumped past Kisame and began sprinting toward Itachi with Naruto hot on your tail.

As you ran you felt the ground begin to change into a squishy pink substance causing you to stop in your tracks. A violent gush of wind then shot past you and into Itachi who stumbled backwards from the force of the gust as Sasuke was pulled into the strange pink substance.

"How unfortunate, Itachi, Kisame. You are both already in my stomach! I summoned the esophagus of the giant toad of Mt. Myomoku rock cave. You are trapped--there is no way out." Jiraya explained before shouting at you and Naruto to stay still. You complied with his request and watched as the walls began closing in around Itachi and Kisame as they tried to escape Jiraya's jutsu. Jiraya, your uncle, and Naruto ran after them but you stayed behind with Sasuke.

His expression was blank, and blood slowly dripped from his mouth as Jiraya's jutsu dissipated and he began to fall to the ground. You caught him and slowly sat him against the wall.

"Sasuke?" You murmured in worry but you got no response.

He just quietly sat there with his head bowed. As you watched him in worry you suddenly heard yelling as Guy-sensei came flying threw the air and kicked Jiraya in the side. You briefly watched them before tuning them out as they began talking. You were too worried about Sasuke to pay attention.

You then felt a sudden presence beside you and you glanced over to see your uncle crouched on the ground next to you.

"Sasuke will be okay but we need to get him to some medical ninja as soon as possible." Your uncle explained as he gently picked up Sasuke.

"Oh and you should take that cloak off...you don't want to be associated with those people."

You nodded at your uncle's words before explaining that you only had a bathrobe on underneath it. Your uncle's eyes widened in horror before he quickly pointed to your hotel room.

"Just go change!"

You nodded at your uncle's words before running off to your hotel room. As you ran, you glanced over your shoulder one last time at Sasuke's limp form in your uncle's arms. He looked so broken...so vulnerable.

You had no idea what Itachi did to him...you just hoped that Sasuke would be okay.

*Author's Note*

Hello everyone! I hope that you enjoyed the chapter! I enjoyed writing it ^v^ As some of you may have already noticed, this chapter's events somewhat differ from canon. I did this to better incorporate the reader into the story.

I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted Itachi to cover the reader with his cloak but considering his connection with the reader, his rational mindset and his protective nature to those he cares about it seemed like the best course of action to have him do this. I am also considering having a chapter where the reader gets to learn more about Itachi's thoughts on them but this is still up in the air for now. I also wanted to mention that the reader's kekkei genkai will become more useful and powerful as she learns to control it. This growth will occur most notably in the two-year time skip to Shippuden. I didn't want to make the reader overpowered or unnaturally skilled without any work or personal growth. Naruto is a show in which hard work and never giving up on your dreams despite your circumstances are the central message. Considering this, I wanted the reader to start out unskilled like Naruto did so that the reader can grow into a stronger and wiser version of themselves through hard work. Having said that, to survive in the world of Naruto and fight alongside and against the characters in this show the reader will have to become very strong and skilled.

Anyway, thank you for all the reads, votes, and comments! I also want to thank those of you who have added Control to your reading lists/libraries. I appreciate all of you!

Also, I hope you all have a wonderful day/night, and wish me luck--My classes start this coming week O__o
