Without Warning Part 1

"But no funny business got it? The two of you are to be in your separate rooms after 8:00." 

Naruto huffed at this while crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yea yea whatever you say."

You sighed at your uncle's words as the four of you approached a hotel. He was always so protective of you. 

"I'm not a kid anymore Uncle Gyo, I can take care of myself."

Your uncle shot you a look as Jiraya smirked and nudged your uncle with his elbow.

"Got your hands full don't ya?"

"You have no idea..." Your uncle deeply sighed as the four of you entered the hotel.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" You frowned, as your uncle completely ignored you and proceeded to ask for two hotel rooms.

Your frown deepened at this causing Naruto to give you a comforting pat on the shoulder.

"It's okay (YN), he's just old and cranky."

Your uncle's eye twitched at this and you began to quietly snicker as the four of you walked to your hotel rooms. Your uncle bought two rooms, one for you and him and one for Naruto and Jiraya. The two rooms were across from each other.

"You kids are gonna stay here. Gyo and I are going out to search for information." Jiraya stated as he dropped his bags in Naruto's arms. 

Naruto frowned and dropped Jiraya's bags as he pointed an accusing finger at the older male.

"Yea right! You're just gonna perve on women!"

Jiraya laughed as he turned around and began walking away with a wide grin on his face. He was muttering something under his breath but all you could make out were the words "cute" and "hotties". A frown appeared on your face as you looked up at your uncle.

He was shaking his head at Jiraya's antics as he opened the door to your hotel room and placed his bags inside.

"I'll be back. I'm not sure where he's going but I will be looking for information on the whereabouts of the next Hokage. I'll bring some food back for you guys when I'm done."

You nodded at your uncle's words as he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Man, you really wanted to learn how to do that. As you thought this you glanced at Naruto.

"Hey Naruto, I'm gonna take a shower and then we can hang out afterward, okay?

Naruto nodded, a light blush crossing his features as he grinned back at you.

"Okay!"

You smiled at this, you were tempted to tease Naruto but decided against it as you thought back to this morning. You liked teasing your friends, especially Naruto but when the tables were turned you couldn't take what you dished out. It's like your brain would short-circuit so you ignored his blush and quickly entered your hotel room. 

Setting your bag on the ground, you walked towards the bathroom. For a hotel, it had a rather spacious bathroom. They even had a little complimentary basket full of various bath bombs, soap, and lotion. Grinning you picked up one of the bath bombs. It was lavender-scented.

"I guess I'll just take a relaxing bath then." You shrugged with a small smile as you put the stopper in the tub and began filling it.

Once the water was deep enough you turned it off and began stripping your clothes. Tossing the clothes to the side you slowly entered the hot water. The steam from the water swirled past your face as you sunk deeper into its warmth. You hadn't taken a bath in a long time so it was rather relaxing. The heat helped to soothe your tired and achy muscles.

A satisfied sigh escaped your lips as you were enveloped by its warmth. You then slowly sat up and grabbed the bathbomb you sat beside the tub. As you placed the bath bomb in the water you glanced up at a sudden sound.

Craning your neck, you quietly listened before jumping at the sound of yelling and a loud thump.

Glowering at this, you quickly got out of the water and threw on one of the complimentary bathrobes on the bathroom door. It was very short and a little too revealing for your tastes but at the moment you didn't care. You were livid. You just wanted to relax and some moron was ruining it by making a loud ruckus in the hallway. 

Your irritation increased with each step you took towards the hotel room door. Whoever was out there was still yelling! People are so rude and inconsiderate!

"Alright! I don't care who you think you are but you need to keep it down! " You yelled as you threw the door open. 

You were so mad you didn't care if anyone saw you in nothing but a bathrobe. Indecency be damned! You were about to start yelling again but stopped at the sight before you.

In front of you was Naruto and two men wearing long black cloaks with red clouds adorning them. Their backs were turned but they quickly shifted their attention to you as Naruto started spluttering. His eyes were wide with shock and his face was beat red as he took your appearance in.

"(Y-YN)! W-what are you wearing!?" He screeched but you couldn't focus on his words.

You were too entranced by the familiar individual standing before you...your mind felt fuzzy and your stomach turned as you took his features in. Long black hair that framed his face and dark eyes...eyes you could recognize anywhere.

"Itachi..."

Hello everyone! I hope that you enjoyed the chapter! It was pretty lengthy but I needed to include the reader's training with her uncle. The reader's summoning jutsu will come in pretty handy as the story progresses ;) I also wanted to tie up some loose ends in this chapter.
