Without Warning Part 1

"What brings you here Jiraya?"

"Well, I'm here to pick up Naruto. I'm taking him on a mission to find the next Hokage."

Your uncle nodded at this as Jiraya gave him a wide grin.

"Say, would you like to come? It'll be like old times. You can even bring your little prodigy there."

Prodigy? Did you hear Jiraya correctly? No one has ever called you anything like that before...he must be crazy you concluded as you looked at your uncle.

"Hmm yeah, we'll come with you. I have to speak with the elders and her sensei first. (YN), go home and pack your bags."

~Timeskip~

You stood at the entrance of the village with Jiraya and your uncle. The village elders had approved your uncle's request to go on Jiraya's mission. The two of them were currently engrossed in a conversation you didn't care to listen to. You lost interest as soon as Jiraya started talking about his 'research'.

What a perv...

As you thought this, you spotted the familiar form of Naruto approaching the entrance of the village. He had a bright grin on his face as he ran toward the three of you.

"It's about time you showed up." Jiraya commented as Naruto reached you.

"Haha sorry! I didn't want to forget anything!"

You smiled at this as the four of you left the village. Your uncle and Jiraya walked in front while you and Naruto tagged behind. As you walked, Naruto began telling you about his training and his new summoning jutsu. This sparked your interest and you immediately began telling him about your summoning jutsu.

"Wow! So you can summon too?"

"Yea! Right now all I can summon are eggs and chicks though..." You sheepishly said. You were a little ashamed you couldn't summon anything bigger yet.

Naruto waved this off with a grin.

"Ah that's alright (YN)! When I started all I could summon was a tadpole! You'll get the hang of it in no time, believe it!"

His grin then widened as a light shade of pink began to dust his cheeks.

"I can also help you with your summoning jutsu too!"

You smiled at this. Naruto always made you smile. 

"I'd like that Naruto."

Naruto grinned at your response before moving on to another conversation topic. The two of you talked like this for several hours. Laughing and smiling the entire time as your discussion ranged from training and jutsus to pranks, and various other topics. Before you knew it, the four of you had reached another village.

Your eyes roamed the various buildings of the village as you walked. You weren't sure where you were going but you were okay with that. It was just nice to get out of the village for a little bit. You hadn't been on a mission outside of the leaf village in a while now. 

"Alright guys, we're gonna find a hotel for the night. Once we get there you two can hang out or rest," Your uncle began before shooting Naruto a deadly glare.
