(Y/n) takes a trip to the Shambali Monastery to learn how to fix her omnic friend, but in doing so, she gets the attention of the leader of Null Sector--who believes she's there to cause harm to his people. And with the knowledge she gains from Zeny...
There was no door out of the temple, the front steps led right out into the snow-covered entrance. The snow reached halfway up (Y/n)'s calves, the dark sky was blotted out by gathering clouds, a chilly wind attempted to blow her hood down and muss her (hair/color) hair up after she so neatly hid it in the hood, and it looked like nighttime despite her knowing it was early morning.
She heaved a sigh, mumbling to herself, "Probably gonna snow."
"Indeed," a new voice made her perk up, and she turned to see the omnic with bunny ears. They stood beside her, gaze towards the snow, and slowly approaching from behind them was the Ravager. "As it so happens, Ramattra was about to part from the monastery as well. You two could travel together." He introduced the idea casually, like an invitation out to brunch from a friend, and she rose her nervous eyes to the Ravager. His cold look hadn't thawed, the curved staff in his hand clutched tighter like he was resisting the urge to snarl at her, and she pulled her bandana up over her nose to cover her uneasy expression.

"You don't have to join me, I'll be fine." The excuse fell out of her mouth like it couldn't get out fast enough, something about the tall omnic making the hairs on the back of neck stand on end. "But I appreciate you looking out for me..." She trailed off, intending to get the bunny omnic's name, but they ignored the invitation.
"You two are going the same direction, and it would be unwise to travel alone in this weather." They gestured towards the darkening clouds like they felt the storm brewing just like her. If she had any choice, she would've waited for the storm to pass, but she needed all the strength she could get to return to the village down the mountain and she was almost out of supplies as is.
"Ramattra doesn't seem to like me," she joked, trying to smile up at the Ravager, but the look she received in response made her blood run cold. It was merciless and as frigid as the Himalayan air, his lack of ability to emote doing nothing to dampen the burning hatred she could feel radiating off of him. It froze her breath in her lungs like she was prey caught in a predator's gaze. The bunny omnic made no comment about it, only gesturing towards the exit as if dismissing the pair before turning to leave, their job done.
Wordlessly, the Ravager walked forward to lead the way, the scepter in his hand glowing like a purple beacon, and with no choice but to follow, (Y/n) swallowed her fear and trailed after him. The other omnics in the monastery were delightful, so even knowing Ramattra hated her because of her being human, she told herself she'd be fine, ignoring the way her stomach dropped in fear as the Ravager glanced back at her to make sure she was following. She caught the smallest glint of blood red beady lights in the slits of his face plate where his eyes would be, again making her feel like she had two lasersights centered right between her eyes – like a gun she didn't see yet was pointed right at her.
(Y/n) lowered the goggles over her eyes, adjusting the bandana so her entire face was shielded from the harsh air. The cold was biting, nipping at any exposed skin with temperatures low enough to induce frostbite within the hour, and stray (h/c) strands whipped at her face against the bandana. The day she traveled to the Shambali Monastery was a bright and sunny one, the cold driven off by the warmth of the sun making it a near perfect day for the Himalayas. So walking through the deep white snow – with a purplish hue from Ramattra's staff – as no light at all broke through the cloudy sky and wind whipped faster all the time signaling a storm was rolling in made her anxious. What rotten luck to get weather like this today of all days.
