I just grabbed the stuff and went, pushing myself through pain to move.

The diamonds were safely in my back pockets, and I knew the redstone was deactivated, but my whole body was screaming out in agony, and I doubted I'd make it much further.

When I reached the doors, I burst through them in a loud, desperate attempt of escape, but the blinding sunlight took me off guard. Something caught my eye in the distance; before I could do anything, I collapsed to the ground, catching my last glimpse of the bright world around me.

The last thing I remember were a pair of hands reaching out for me; and then, even though I put all my will into preventing it, I fell into and endless void of darkness.
