I started flying further towards the outskirts of the city hoping that maybe whoever took him might have just simply moved to one of the more isolated locations, but that was not proving to be the case. I was even starting to grow tired since it has only been about an hour or two since I was freed. My body is still new to me, and all this is still taking some getting used to. The city also looks different. The majority of it is still the same, but many of the shops and locations have changed. It really makes me realized that four years really have passed. I wonder how Teresa is doing?

"Tess!" If anyone should have any clue as to where her brother might be it should be her. I haven't seen her in four years, I can't even remember the last time I saw her. would she still remember me? Would she be mad that I never got to say goodbye?

I stopped at the park just a few houses down from her old house. I changed back to my mortal form and made sure I looked okay enough to make sure I didn't draw suspicion towards me. once I was sure I looked normal I made my way towards her house. I knocked on the door, and for the first time I could actually hear my heart beating. I have to admit that that is not a normal sound for me. I am not used to having a heart beat.

"Can I help you?" I looked up and saw Teresa's mom. She stilled looked the same, only a little older.

"Mrs. robin."

"Yes, may I ask who you are?

"It's me Lolita." she took a moment to look at me, and next thing I now, I am pulled into the familiar bear hug that I am actually happy to admit I missed.

"Lolita, mijita, where have you been? what happened to you? look at you hear and your eyes? weren't they green? I must be getting old. What are you doing here?" Wow, she said all of that in a single breath.

"It's good to see you too Mrs. Robin. I was just wondering if Teresa was here?" A sad smile came across her normally over joyed face.

"No. Soon after her brother left to go live with yours she moved out. She said that she was tired of being left behind that she wanted to start fresh. I haven't hear or seen her in almost two years." This is strange. Could she have been more hurt about my being gone than I thought. I guess Ashton's moving out must have really made it even harder for her.

"I see. So you have no idea where she might have moved to?"

"I'm afraid not. She saved money up so that she could travel around the world. The last thing she told me was that she was going to find someone that could help hurt with a burden that she was never asked to carry. I have no idea what she could have been talking about." Neither did I. What burden could she have been talking about?

"Okay. Well it was really nice to see you again Mrs. Robin. Say hello to Mr. Robin for me."

"I will mijita. Now you come back and visit. I have always thought of you as a second daughter, so seeing you again feels like I got one of my kids back." After promising that I would I made my way back towards the park on foot. I needed some time to think.

So not only was Ashton missing, but there was no word as to where Teresa was. I guess she was gonna be no help right now. I sat down at one of the swings and tried to think. Who could want to hurt Ashton, and for what purpose. No one should know about him. And the only people that know about what he is are me, my family, Teresa, and Abraham. But Abraham is gone, and Teresa loves him to much to hurt a hair on his head. Plus, she has been gone for two years on some trip around the world.

'Grandpa, where could she be?' Hopefully he is not to busy and is able to answer.

'Hello my dear, miss me already.' Oh thank him, he answered.

'That, and I need help. Is there any way that you could tell me where Teresa might be?'

'Teresa?'

'My best friend. She is Ashton's sister and I don't know where she is, not even her mother knows. If anyone should be able to find him it should be her.'

'I can certainly look for her for you. Could the young lady be Teresa Alma Robin?'

'Yes!' Leave it to him to know exactly who it is that I am looking for.

'This is strange. Teresa has been in the city this whole time. Except for two years ago when she left to travel to some remote land in the center of new Orleans. She returns about a few months after her stay there, but something is blocking me from seeing what it is that she did there. Lolita I do not like this. Nothing on earth is kept hidden from me, and for something to actually be blocked from even my eyes is not a good thing. I will send some of my warrior angels to help you, but I ask that you stay on guard while they get there.' This was getting stranger by the minute. There really should be nothing that god himself should not be able to see, he sees and knows all. What the hell could Tess have gotten herself into?

'Grandfather, could you at least  tell me where Teresa lives? I want to know for myself that she is safe and that she has not gotten herself involved in something terrible.'

'My dear I would feel a lot better if you would wait for the angels to get there.'

"Please grandfather. I need to know that she is alright. If I feel that something is wrong I can always used my powers, but I doubt that anything will happen.'

'Lolita you have only been reborn for a few hours, your body is not yet stable. If you exert yourself you might end up very well killing yourself. You are not yet fully immortal again. While mortal object may not kill you, immortal object will.' What could he be so scared of. There is nothing that he should fear, yet here he was worried about Teresa hurting me. What does he know?

'Grandfather, I must see her. She has a bond greater than mine between her and Ashton. She is the only one that might be able to locate him. I don't have time to wait, and neither does Ashton.'  I have not had a heart before, but mine is beating faster than I know it should. The thought of Ashton getting hurt was sending pain to my chest, and it was hurting me. I am not used to this pain.

'Very well. But at the first sign of trouble I will pull you out of there and bring you back here to heaven. I may not have been able to be there to help you before with Abraham, but this time will be different.' Now I'm scared. All these emotions are so strange and annoying at times. A white dove dropped the letter from grandfather next to me on the swing. The letter contained Teresa's address. She was only a few blocks down from where Blake and Ashton now live. Could they have known that she was here the whole time and not told her parents? I didn't have time to think about this right now. I summoned my wings and made my way towards her apartment. I couldn't help but notice a strange smell coming from around the area. The smell was so bad it was making me feel dizzy. I ended up having to land on a small roof top to make sure I didn't fall from the sky.

"What the hell?" I looked up and saw a young woman standing in front of me. She was tall and slender, with long wavy dark hair and ruby red lipstick on her plump lips. "Wait, Lolita?" I looked closer at her and I felt my eyes grow wide.

"Teresa?" I could have sworn I saw anger flash in her eyes, but they were replaced by one of concern. She ran up to me and helped me up.

"Lolita, what are you doing here? Never mind, that can wait, let's get you inside." I couldn't help but notice how cold her skin was, and that being next to her was making my insides feel strange. At the moment all I could think about was two things. I finally get to see my best friend again, and now I have one more person that could help me find Ashton.
