Wednesday: I'm not saying you have to decline him.
Wednesday: You asked for my opinion, so I gave you my opinion.

Enid: yeah, thx
Enid: removed him

Wednesday: Okay, and what's this "Tinder" you are talking about?

Enid: a dating app
Enid: matches you with people
Enid: you can chat with them
Enid: go on a date
Enid: maybe sex
Enid: basically you can meet your lover there

Wednesday: And I suppose that there is little to no chance of actually finding someone suitable in reality, right?

Enid: pretty much
Enid: i had one, but he didnt like that i didn graduate

Wednesday: Sorry to hear that.
Wednesday: What happened?

Enid: was framed for bullying
Enid: i swear i wouldnt hurt anyone

Wednesday: Who framed you?

Enid: the teacher, because her son wanted to go to a school dance with me but i refused

Wednesday: Tell me her name.
Wednesday: I will send her a gift.

Enid: she doesnt deserve gifts

Wednesday: It won't be that kind of a gift.
Wednesday: I'm just saying a gift to not scare you.

Enid: so that gift would be a bomb like in movies?

Wednesday: Could be.

Enid: cool
Enid: also prob illegal

Wednesday: Laws are meant to be broken.

Enid: finally someone that thinks the same

Wednesday: Do we have things in common?

Enid: idk
Enid: but i would be happy that we do!

Wednesday: Where are you now?

Enid: creepy
Enid: in my bed

*Wednesday started a call*

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Enid panicked when she saw the text on her screen.

The stranger named Wednesday wanted to talk to her...with a voice.

No, not now. Enid thought, pressing the red button quickly. She wasn't ready to speak to her.

Soon came a notification from their chat.

Wednesday: Sorry.
Wednesday: We can still text.

Enid panicked; she just destroyed the chance of having a real friend.

Okay, Enid, calm down, you can do this. She told herself, opening the chat and pressing the call button.

She waited a few moments, till the ringing stopped.

"Hello?" Came through the speaker. The girl had a voice so so so sweet.

"H-Hey." Enid said. "Sorry I-I hung up the first t-time."

"It's alright, Enid," Wednesday said. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah." Enid said, smiling. "Just nervous."

"About me calling you? Don't be." Wednesday said. "But if it makes you uncomfortable, we can still chat by messages."

"Nonono, it's fine, really!" Enid quickly said while still slightly panicking. "I'm glad to hear you."

"Same here." Wednesday said. "So, how are you doing?"

"I'm good." Enid said. "I have ran some errands from work, and now I'm just laying in bed."

"Glad to hear that." Wednesday said. "What do you do at your work?"

"Typical barista in a typical town café." Enid said. "But I try to be really nice to everyone, quick, and sometimes I even have time to make them something in their coffee with cream."

"So I'm guessing you live with your parents?" "That's partially correct." Enid said with a sigh.

"I am trying to find an apartment, but like half of the nights of a month I sleep in my car that I bought." Enid said. "It's just some cheap thing that I bought through my dad, and I don't even drive it."

Enid didn't even felt a single tear leave her eye as she recalled the memory from the first time she slept in it.

"But guessing by knowing you, the car is clean and all." Wednesday said.

"Yeah, I wash it every weekend, vaccumm it, and there's a matress in it." Enid added with a chuckle. "And what about you except being an author?"

"Well, I don't have a job." Wednesday said. "But I occasionally am invited to work on a crime scene, and also one book I wrote gone popular in Europe, so it brings something to me every month."

"And how do you live off of that?" Enid asked.

"I live at my uncle's place, who is never home, and I just buy food and essentials for me." Wednesday said. "Sometimes I buy myself a book."

Enid quickly compared Wednesday's lifestyle; quiet, calm, easy, happy, and then hers; rushed, stupid and all.

"And that publisher. Did he contact you?" Enid asked, curious.

"Yeah, they decided to take it to their supervisors, but it will be published." Wednesday said. "I was actually thinking of sending a copy to you before, but I am worried that the idiots at the post office will read it."

"So then bring me it." Enid said, not noticing immediately what she just said.

"Bring it...personally?" Wednesday asked, a hint of nervousness in her voice.

"Y-Yeah...?" Enid replied, blushing for some reason.

Did she really just invite Wednesday to come to her town?

"I...I guess...I can come." Wednesday replied. "Town name?"
