With each new murder, the tension in Edenvale soared to new heights. The city streets buzzed with fear and uncertainty as citizens grappled with the horrifying reality of the escalating violence.

Like previously, the third unknown member was again found to be a member of the Ashes group, Ralph. He was the financier of Ashes group, so his death was a big bow to Ashes' treasury.

As the police delved deeper into the investigations, the trail seemed to grow colder with each passing day. Despite their relentless efforts, they found themselves no closer to uncovering the identity of the elusive perpetrator behind the string of brutal killings. The case of the deaths of students from Humboldt and their two teachers remained a haunting mystery, shrouded in darkness and unanswered questions.

The press hounded the police for answers, their relentless questioning serving only to fuel the rising panic among the populace. With each new headline, the sense of unease in the city deepened, casting a pall over the once vibrant streets.

Even the Global Hero Association found themselves at a loss, their formidable heroes powerless in the face of an enemy who seemed to strike with impunity. The realization that the city was under siege by an unseen adversary sent shockwaves through their ranks, as they grappled with the sobering truth that even their extraordinary abilities might not be enough to stem the tide of violence.

Next Day

A meeting took place in a private island near the Bellostria-Humboldt border

Every important member was called to the building. For the rest, the meeting was being live-streamed in their Edenvale's hideout.

The atmosphere in the secluded building was tense, suffused with an air of apprehension and fear as the members of the Ashes group gathered to discuss the recent spate of murders. The arrival of their boss, wearing a sinister black mask, only served to heighten the palpable sense of unease among the assembled members.

As the boss took his place at the center of the gathering, his imposing presence commanded the attention of all those present. His anger was palpable, a silent warning to all who dared to cross him. The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on their minds as they awaited his words.

In hushed tones, the members speculated about the identity of the mysterious killer known only as "The Professor." Some suggested that it could be the work of rival gangs seeking to undermine their power, while others whispered of the possibility of GHA involvement. Yet, the boss dismissed these theories with a wave of his hand, his expression stern and unyielding.

"It is not the work of a rival gang," he declared, his voice low and menacing. "Nor is it the handiwork of the GHA. There is something deeper at play here, something that threatens our very existence. There was no connection between the victims."

The revelation sent a shiver down the spines of those gathered, their minds racing with the implications of his words. If not their rivals or the GHA, then who could be behind these brutal murders?

The other generals said, "The 2 commissioners who died worked for us but this was not known to anybody. But still the death of our guys and the cops working for us can be understood but why were the heroes killed with them is still a mystery boss."

The lower rank members were shocked to hear about the commissioners working for Ashes. Within seconds they realized how deep rooted the Ashes gang is in society and politics.

The boss turned to his generals, his gaze piercing as he addressed them directly. "We must find the connection between our organization and these killings," he ordered, his tone brooking no dissent. "And we must find this so-called Professor before he strikes again."

He continued, "But stay vigilant, because as you will be looking for the killer, he himself might be looking for our generals and out top members. Don't worry about the police as their bosses are still my lapdogs but the new commissioner Barry Conners might give us a problem. Just search the Professor and our generals will handle the commissioner and the GHA."

With a nod of understanding, the generals sprung into action, their minds already racing with plans and strategies to uncover the truth.

They understood that the group was specifically targeted and anyone among them can be the next victim. The fate of the Ashes group and their survival was now dependent on unravelling the mystery of the Professor's identity and putting an end to his reign of terror once and for all.

As the scared meeting drew to a close, the boss left with his cavalry of mercenaries and his generals. The members dispersed, each tasked with the daunting mission of uncovering the truth behind the murders. In the shadowy world of crime and corruption, where alliances shifted like sand and loyalties were bought and sold, the hunt for the Professor would be fraught with danger at every turn.

But for the members of the Ashes group, failure was not an option. Their boss's wrath was a constant reminder of the consequences of failure, and they knew that only by bringing the Professor to justice could they hope to secure their place in the criminal underworld once more.
