*For context this happens during S1.14*

Omega watched in a paralyzing horror as Hunter disappeared into the abyss. He was so close, only arms reach away and then in a blink of an eye he was gone, just like that.

"Omega!" Echo called her name frantically as her body moved toward the outstretched ramp.

"We need to go back!" Omega cried, leaning over the edge to try and catch a glimpse of her brother, to know he survived the lethal fall.

"We will, but right now—"

The Marauder suddenly twisted harshly to the right. Omega felt her heart leap into her throat, letting out a silent scream as she was thrown from the ramp.

Omega could barely hear Echo's panicked shouts as she fell through the air. The freefall only lasted a few short seconds though before the young clone was snapped from the shock of falling by the tree branches clawing at her bare skin. Omega winced in pain at each tear as she plummeted through the forest tops. Eventually the instant pain stopped. The girl laid on the dirty floor staring dazedly up at the very sky she had fallen from mere minutes ago. The sun hung high, shining brightly through the tree branches dancing in the gentle breeze. In any other scenario, she would have found it calming.

"Over there!" a distant voice shouted.

"'unter?" she croaked as a white armored figure stood over her, blocking the warm light. The figure roughly picked her up, carrying her bridal style through the forest toward a commotion. The last thing she heard before losing consciousness was another voice desperately yelling her name.

Hunter clutched Omega tightly in his arms as another guard passed by their shared cell. It had been two rotations since their capture and two rotations of Omega lying in his arms unmoving. The sergeant almost had a heart attack when he saw his kid in that imperial's arms, hanging limp and battered. He tried to run toward her, but a trooper shot him with a stun ring, successfully preventing his rescue attempt. He woke up hours later in a cell with Omega carelessly tossed right beside him. The empire didn't care that she was a child, only seeing her as an enemy, like him.

"Please, kid. Wake up," Hunter murmured to the girl he protectively held.

Omega mumbled in her pained sleep, but her eyes didn't open.

Hunter sighed. It was progress at least.

Finally, after another hour of waiting, his wishes were answered.

"Hunter?" Omega's light brown eyes shook as she looked up at him with a  confused expression.

"What's wrong?" she asked, her voice hoarse as she tried to rub the sleepiness from her eyes.

Hunter couldn't help but smile down at her, helping prop her up against the cell wall. She looked so out of place in the brig.

"One thing at a time," the tattooed clone said softly as he ran a gentle hand through her messy hair. "How ya feelin'?"

Omega grimaced as she tried to move a little bit, immediately realizing her mistake as a sharp pain ran down her spine.

"Really sore," she answered honestly. "What happened? Where are we?" she asked tiredly. Quickly catching onto Hunter's sympathetic look, she gathered it wasn't good.

"An imperial base on Daro."

As if he summoned them by name, two stormtroopers appeared at the ray shield to their cell.
