Cid's had it's few usual guests. Without a mission to go on, the Bad Batch were out of a job for a bit. Cid had told them that she would have something for them by the end of the day, which was what they were waiting for.

"When we get this debt paid off, we're never coming back to Ord Mantell again," Hunter said, taking another swing of his drink.

"Agreed." Echo nodded. If there was one thing he hated, it was being stuck in one place for too long.

"Hey, dark and broody," Cid's voice shouted from across the room, "quit drinking, I got something for you."

Hunter's head jerked in her direction. They were finally going to get moving again. He followed Cid to the back room, Tech, Wrecker, Echo and Omega trailing behind him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, sorry tiny, this one's not for you." Cid stopped Omega before she could enter her office.

"What? That's not fair!" Omega crossed her arms, scowling at the Trandoshan.

Hunter glanced at the other members around him who were giving him looks. He sighed, bending down to the girl's level.

"Omega, it'll just be a few minutes, okay?" Hunter watched as her shoulders slouched.

"Yes sir," Omega huffed, turning her back on them and walking back towards the main space.

Echo felt a twinge of guilt seeing her leave. It seemed that almost every mission briefing as of lately was 'too dangerous' for her.

"I'll go stay with Omega," he announced.

Hunter nodded. "Alright, we'll debrief you later."

Echo walked out and saw Omega sitting on one of the padded benches. She looked disappointed and sad. Echo knew somewhat of how she was feeling and made his way over to her. Her head perked up when she saw him coming.

"Why aren't you with the others?" she asked, a hint of bitterness in her voice.

"Well, I figured I'd keep you company instead," Echo said, sitting down across from her.

"How come every time Cid has a mission, I have to sit out?" she looked at him, her face full of hurt and confusion.

"It's nothing personal, Omega. Sometimes Cid doesn't know what you're capable of."

His words seemed to bring a slight smile to her face.

"Echo?" she paused, not sure whether to continue to ask.

"What is it?" Echo prompted her to finish her sentence.

"I-I was just wondering...what you looked like before the Techno Union did experiments on you," she quickly added, "but you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable."

Echo gave her a smile. "Wait here one second." He got up and rummaged through Tech's bag that was left on the bar, grabbing the datapad.

He took his seat next to the young clone, powering on the device. He scrolled through the holo's until he found the one he was looking for.

In the holo there were four men. Three with blue on their armor and one with yellow posing outside a transport.

"Who are they?" Omega asked, staring at the screen with interest.

Echo could feel himself beaming. "These are my brothers. Cody is the guy with yellow armor and this one right here," he pointed to the one beside the commander, "is Rex. He was my captain back when I was with the 501st."

"He's blonde!" Omega gestured to her head in excitement.

Echo chuckled. Rex would have liked her. He was always good with kids when they ever came across them.

"Yeah, just like you," he said, messing up Omega's hair with his flesh hand. He then tapped the screen again.

"This one with the ugly goatee is Fives. He was one of my closest brothers." Echo saddened for a moment. He missed his vod more than anything.

"What was he like?" Omega tilted her head upon seeing him freeze up.

"He was funny, more of a di'kut actually, but he could brighten even the worst day."

"He seems nice," Omega said softly, knowing that Fives was very important to him. That only left one other clone.

"Who's that?" she pointed to the man with a blue hand print on the right side of his chest.

Echo stared at the man. The man with hair and two flesh hands. He looked happy.

"That's me," he whispered.

Omega's eyes went wide. She carefully looked at the holo Echo and then the one sitting next to her.

"I know, I look a lot different now," Echo says, feeling her gaze.

Omega lightly taps his shoulder to get his attention. "I know one thing that hasn't changed." She looked at his face, her expression was gentle.

"Really? What?"

"Your eyes," she concluded. "When you talk about your brothers, they light up just like they do in the holo."

Echo could feel his heart warm. " Thank you, Omega." He barely had time to process the small arms flying around his waist. He lightly let his own wrap around the girl.

"Wanna hear some stories about them?" Echo offered, releasing her from the embrace.

"Yes!" Omega squealed.

"This mission will definitely be more complicated," Hunter grumbled as they exited Cid's office.

"I hate stealth!" Wrecker whined, punching the air.

"If you don't want to risk the chance of getting caught, stealth is the most effective way of completing the task with a higher success rate," Tech piped up.

"Yeah, but I still think it's stupid," Wrecker said, ignoring his smarter brother's information.

Hunter stopped abruptly, causing Tech to run into Wrecker.

"Hunter, why did you stop?" Tech muttered.

Hunter held a finger to his lips.

"Listen."

"And he shot the creature right in the eye!" a gruff voice exclaimed. " A moment later, we would have been eaten."

"Then what?" a younger voice edged on.

"Well, that's how I met him and when he gave me that hand print," Echo stated proudly.

Omega absorbed every word coming out of the ex ARC's mouth. She never knew this side of Echo, but one thing for sure is that she loved it.

"Tell me another," Omega pleaded just as the rest of the batch appeared from out of the hallway.

"Nice story Echo," Wrecker walked over to them, "I wanna hear one."

"Really?" Echo raised an eyebrow at him.

"Come on, you're making the kid wait!" he impatiently boomed.

Hunter and Tech also took seats around the now trio.

"Well, are you going to tell or what?" Hunter smiled.
