"Not going to happen spider" Black Cat said, as she used her claws to cut herself free "This kitty will put up a fight" she said, after freeing herself
She the slashed at Spider-mans back, causing Spider-man to toss her away
"That hurt. I'll knock you out this time" Spider-man said, being fed up with Black Cat
"Uff, that is going to leave a mark" Zatanna said being a bit worried as Spider-mans back had five long scratches on it
"The healing factor will cover it" Spider-man said charging at Black Cat
"You have a healing factor? And you didn't tell me, your best friend?" Zatanna said to Spider-man
"Yeah i don't brag about it" Spider-man said as he sweeped Black Cats leg and got ready to knock her out only for him to get kicked back
"This kitty won.." Black Cat was interupted by Spider-man webbing her mouth up
"This kitty... this kitty that. Can't you just shut up?" Spider-man mocked Black Cat with the first part but, showed his anger in the second part
Black Cat removed the web with her claw "that costs you five scratches" Black Cat said angrily
Spider-man shot a few webs as Zatanna used her magic to keep Black Cat from moving away
"Yeah yeah. Don't annoy me too much with your kitty cat talk" Spider-man said
"You'll pay for this Spider-man" Black Cat said
"I don't care. I gave you two chances to be good and you always made it hard for me" Spider-man said, causing Zatanna to let a small chuckle out "Not in that way" he quickly added
"Hard for me" Zatanna teased Spider-man
"Yeah yeah. Lets just get her to the police before she..." Spider-man stopped talking as he just saw the webbing on the floor, with no traces to where Black Cat went "Are you kidding me?"
"Well she did make it hard for you" Zatanna teased, making air quotations
"Please stop" Spider-man said, getting embarrassed by Zatannas teasing
"Come on, i'm just teasing you a bit. That's not a reason for you to get flustered" Zatanna said, clearly enjoying the teasing she is doing
"Lets get back to the base" Spider-man said, while putting his arm around Zatannas waist, without warning her
Zatannas blush was very visible now "Hey. What about the warning?" Zatanna said
"Why? Can't withstand my grip?" Spider-man teased Zatanna back
Zatanna blushed more "More like your bodyheat" Zatanna said under her breath
"What was that?" Spider-man said
"Get us to the base" Zatanna said, still blushing
"Fine but, only cause you asked nicely" Spider-man said
Spider-man shot web out and got ready and began swinging but, it was slower this time
"Are we slow? Why are we slow?" Zatanna asked
"Kinda want to have one thing to brag about" Spider-man made it clear that he wanted to brag about holding Zatanna this close and swinging slowly
"Maybe i want you to brag about it. Maybe i don't. Who knows?" Zatanna replied to Spider-man
Spider-man swung himself and Zatanna to the Zeta tube but, in a more enjoyable and gentle way
"It's so beautiful" Zatanna said, enjoying the city view and the way Spider-man held onto her by her waist
"The most beautiful view for me is right next to me" Spider-man said, while swinging with Zatanna in his arm
Zatanna blushed and was speechless but, happy to have hope that he might like her aswell
"Do you like me?" Zatanna blurted out
"What?" Spider-man thought he heard wrong, so he wanted to hear it again to confirm his theory
"Do you like me?" Zatanna asked
"Yeah i do. Do you like me?" Spider-man asked back after answering Zatannas question
"I like you too" Zatanna said, blushing but happy
They got at the location of the Zeta Tube but, Spider-man stopped Zatanna
"Why were you so annoyed when Black Cat called you a witch?" Spider-man asked, genuinely curious about it
"When you think of a witch, you think of an old short lady with warts and a long nose. And a mage is someone who has magic abilities, also it has nothing to do with the appearance" Zatanna answered the question
"Yup. You are right a witch always reminds me of those old ladies with warts but, you are too beautiful and kind to be a witch" Spider-man said, making it sound like he flirted with her
"Am i that beautiful for you?" Zatanna asked
"You are" Spider-man replied as the two went through the Zeta Tube, to return to Mount Justice
